Action with no hesitation; This is a great example of what paying close attention to a task with unfortunate small junior moves results in vs Blunt ACTION and clarity of the end result. In short, get up, produce and make some action that will have beneficial results to yourself or your company. This is the kinda mindset you need. Whether your action fails or not.. it’s all about how hard you tried and what you were willing to do to make action and standout from the rest. Working on any task; doesn’t require a lot of validation, due diligence or accountability. If there’s a clear cut task - make sure your brief and to the point with no song or dance. That’s a wrap Lock n load

𝐖𝐡𝐨 𝐍𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐬 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭? Not everyone needs it. Full stop. I’m a high performance coach, and I am telling you that. Why? Because it’s true! There are many highly successful people who never touch the stuff. If you explain what’s involved, they often won’t see the point of it, let alone its value. What they did in life when they were young enabled them to succeed, even if they had many turns in the road and many failures. This is not to say that they didn’t operate by sound personal development principles. Everyone who succeeds does. It’s just that they didn’t do so with full awareness of what they were doing. They picked up ideas of how to be disciplined here, how to build momentum there, and how to exploit their gain in another area of their life. The main people who need personal development work–whether through books, courses, or coaching– are people who discover at some point that they don’t know how to succeed, or are very disappointed with their level of success. That’s where I found myself in my mid-thirties in academia. I wasn’t publishing at the rate I wished to, and my social life was the pits. If you are disappointed with your level of success, the single most important decision you can make is look into personal development. I spent over a decade investigating personal development, investigating the relevant psychological literature, and experimenting on myself. Being a professional philosopher equipped me to effectively study the Stoics and the academic literature on Stoicism. Two years ago, 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐦 was born out of these two strands. Since then I’ve been refining, improving, and optimizing my high performance system. That’s the story of my journey into personal development. What has your personal development journey been like? Are you willing to sprint when the distance is unknown? In 2021, Georgia Tech strength coach Lewis Caralla delivered this epic speech to the football team. If it doesn't get you motivated, you may need to check your pulse... He opens with a few harsh truths: • Winning isn't loyal to you • Winning doesn't care about you • Winning doesn't care how sore you are • Winning doesn't care how hard you work • Winning doesn't care how much sleep you get But it's his question that stuck with me: Are you willing to sprint when the distance is unknown? The willingness to sprint with no clear view of the finish line is rare. It requires two things: 1. A deep belief in one's self 2. A deep belief in the mission If you have 1 but not 2, you won't be able to do it. If you have 2 but not 1, you won't be able to do it. You need both. In my observation, the greatest things in life are accomplished when you're willing to sprint when the distance is unknown: The sprint to care for your loved ones in their time of need. The sprint to build something meaningful. The sprint to serve others and create positive ripples in the world. Goal: Find those rare things in life that you're willing to sprint for when the distance is unknown. That, to me, is the definition of winning. "And why chase winning? Because the only thing that's guaranteed in life if you don't chase it is losing."

𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐖𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐁𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 Everyone wants to be confident. So it hardly seems necessary to explain why you 𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅 want to be confident. Right? Wrong! Confidence is like a number of areas of self-improvement, such as exercise, diet, and consistency in this single way: People will swear up and down that they want it, but despite the wealth of information available on the topic, they take no committed action to get it. Think about it. If someone seriously wants to get something, and takes no steps to get it, they want it much less than they think. For wholehearted desire expresses itself in action. If someone wants to be confident, but does nothing to become confident, that tells me one of three things: they have serious inner conflict about becoming confident, or they don’t know what steps to take to become confident, or that they aren’t fully convinced of the benefits of being confident. If you don’t see the benefits of becoming confident, check these: * It improves your performance. * You will more likely take the risks needed for success. * It makes taking action more enjoyable. * You will start to welcome bigger challenges. * You will watch the range of “what you can do” expand in your mind. So you will begin to understand what people mean when they believe “I can do anything.” Convinced yet that you should work on becoming confident? Good. If you are one of those who seriously wants to become confident, but doesn’t know how to go about it, then consider signing up for 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐦 𝐂𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠, part of which originated in a study of different confidence programs which don’t quite add up, or make use of information about confidence that is obsolete. Or, heck, just forge your own path for becoming confident. Whichever course of action you choose, just start to move toward confidence.
