Here's how to not be a “noise maker" with your OFFER People don't buy products, they buy answers/solutions to their problems. If you're not discussing the problems your customers are facing, They won't know that you have a solution that can help them. Remember, there are 3 levels to your customer's problems: external, internal, and philosophical. Successful marketers address all three! 1️⃣External problem ~ the actual PROBLEM. 2️⃣Internal problem ~ how your customers FEEL about their problem. 3️⃣Philosophical problem ~ What your customers BELIEVE about their problem. 🗣 PSA: Customers need a reason to say yes. You need to provide your target audience with convincing and authentic messaging. Show them how your product will make their lives: 🌥 Easier 💫 Better 💃 Less Stressful 💸 More Successful Etc, etc... Remember, YOU know about your business better than anyone else. What may seem obvious to you, may not actually be obvious to a potential buyer. Even with low price-point items... people still need a reason to say yes!

Ever dated someone who only talks about themselves? Snoozefest, right? That's what pitching your business solely on features can feel like. Look, your product's awesome. But people want to know what it does for them. What's that nagging problem they have? You're the hero arriving to slay that dragon and completely transform their situation! Forget technical specs for a minute. Tell a story. Show them the struggle (their problem) and the epic victory after using your solution. This emotional connection is way more powerful than features ever will be. People buy solutions, not things. Ditch the business jargon and focus on the impact. I feel I've learn a very important lesson Story matters. we humans love story telling and listening. Thats same when we want to buy stuff too. You may think that the top selling tools are the ones that help solve the most important problems but thats just a part of the story. solving a problem is a prerequisite for a product. what matters is your products story. story telling matters for both your pitch to VC's and your sales docs. So if you are sure about the need for a solution and you have confidence in your product but people don't seem to share the same feeling as you try to change how you are telling the story. Stop focusing on your products features, Stop focusing on how your product solves the problem Start to tell a story about how your product can effect your customers every day life. help your customer imagine using your product, help them imagine a problem less life after buying your product. Only then they can imagine buying your product.

I've shared this simple statement with dozens of CEOs, marketers, and sales leaders over the past year: Messaging is the work you have to do so you can do the work you want to do. The issues you're having right now—the ones that keep coming up over and over again at your L10s and ELT sync—are symptoms of a much bigger problem: Your messaging strategy isn't helping you anymore, and it's time to do something about it. You can either accept that and get to work, or you can keep talking for another quarter. The problems aren't going away. They're only going to get bigger.

"Stop thinking about it so much. Start feeling what you want the person reading or listening to your copy to feel," Dick Briner said in his Portfolio Center class. "Blasphemy," I thought to myself. Then Briner starting reading what he thought was great copy to us. It takes practice to stop thinking through the idea, the copy, the design or any part of an ad, but that's where the magic happens. We've got to feel to hit people in their feelings. Not think at them. Even business to business is about feelings. A human makes the decision. Stop talking to the tile people wear, and speak with the person who holds the title. What does that CMO want? To keep their job, get a bonus or promotion - to look good. Every business person wants to make money but they also want to keep their job or be recognized. Speak to it It is easy to reduce people to their titles, and pretend that they behave differently, but what a crock that is. Sure, they hide behind business goals and objectives, but look beyond the surface - what do they really want or need? After all, they are only human.
