Hi developers, On the journey of finding the extensions of Visual Studio code I get to know about the flutter tree extension. With the help of this extension, you have to just write the widget name, and the whole hierarchy and at last hit enter and you are good to go. What is your 𝗽𝗲𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗲𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗼? I love Visual Studio, it's amazing but here's a couple of pet peeves / feature requests from me ... #1 DB Data Compare has 𝗻𝗼 𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀 so you have to recheck them every time you want to compare tables across two databases. Pretty painful if you have a large number of tables. #2 𝗡𝗼 𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹 𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 in the '𝘗𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘦 𝘑𝘚𝘖𝘕 𝘈𝘴 𝘊𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘴' functionality. Some of the online JSON -> C# convertors have options to control casing, it would be nice to have a default casing style configurable. #3 𝗡𝗼 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝘃𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀 in .http files. This is where we can store data from the response of one request (eg. token) in a variable to be used by a later request. .Http file support is only new in VS so I think it will support request variables soon. I've been using Rest Client on Visual Studio Code in the meantime. #4 No ability to 𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲 (showing summary view of changes across all changed files like in PR view) rather than having to click each file that is changed to view it's change(s) separately.
