I’m honored to share I’ll be leading General Motors’ software engineering organization as Senior Vice President. In this role, I’ll be focusing on areas including software defined vehicle development, software quality and testing, services, cloud platforms, web and mobile, IT, and advanced driver-assistance systems. I’ll be working alongside Baris Cetinok, who will lead Product Management, Program Management and Design. Since joining GM in September, I have seen the incredible complexity and significance of the work that goes into powering modern vehicles. There’s no better time to be a software engineer working in auto, as today’s vehicles combine horsepower with processing power. I’m thrilled to continue collaborating with our talented technical teams to make the cars of today and tomorrow more custom, convenient, and safer. Thank you to Mary Barra and Mark Reuss for their leadership.
Congratulations Dave. Looking forward to many more years working together
Better join a union. Just ask 30,000 GM salaried employees.
