It was great to make a stop at Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity again this year and reconnect with friends and leaders from distant corners of the globe and from different phases of my career including from my time as #CMO. I had the chance to briefly say hello to the founders of the global leadership communities I have been part of Marc Sternberg Brand Innovators Sherilyn Shackell The Marketing Academy Marc de Swaan Arons Institute for Real Growth. As Marketing is one of the areas that will be most transformed by #AI, I was keen to exchange on how the industry is evolving. Here are some of my reflections: 💡 Great marketers will take advantage of AI to boost human centricity and creativity to address business issues and consistently build brands more efficient and effectively globally. 💡 Great brands will invest in data and AI to spot trends and unearth insights through analytics but will go beyond by listening deeply to audiences and convening brilliant minds to translate all into differentiated strategies. 💡 AI will foster big-swing innovations enabled by faster and lower cost experimentation - from creation of new products to new marketing and engagement strategies - but great brands will also unlock new possibilities that AI brings for human creativity to deliver effective solutions. 💡 Marketers are increasingly leveraging AI across the consumer decision journey.
