1moGreat read, and you’re right… the mantra “it has always been done this way” has lead sponsors to under-enrollment, under-representation, delays in their drugs getting to market, and higher costs. There will always be a place for AMCs to perform research, but by not selecting community sites, involving more diverse doctors and patients, nothing will improve. Sites have changed their strategy and the shape of their networks, the FDA has put out guidance and regulation, but now it is time for industry to take the important next step to truly change the paradigm.
