This is a great article and highlight to some of the things often taken for granted when it comes to navigating the web. For someone who is Neurodivergent - things can get a little overwhelming when you start making things overcomplicated or adding too many bells and whistles with crazy micro interactions, different ways of navigating or changing up the layout of every page. Though they may look great, it can cause our brains to tap out from the sheer overload of tasks it’s trying to accomplish at once. Sometimes simple really is the best answer. #uxdesign #uxuidesign #accessibledesign #experiencedesign #inclusivedesign #userexperience #neurodiversity

UX Research | Customer Insights | Former Broadcast Journalist | I turn data into stories that drive confident product strategies 🔭📐
If you have felt skeptical of the future of UX research, read this piece. Thank you Jim Ross for sharing a bird’s eye view of your 25 years in the industry. So many of us were caught in the eye of the storm this year, and for some, especially recent career-changers and new grads, it’s easy to succumb to panic if you haven’t witnessed the rich history of the field unfold in front of you. Seeing how UX (and research in particular) has weathered the downturns, shapeshifting and adapting, but never ceasing to add value, has left me uplifted and energized. #uxresearch #uxr #userresearch #userexperience #layoffs
