When you're job hunting, you'll probably hear "NO" more often than "YES" "We're sorry..." "Unfortunately..." "We've decided to move forward with another candidate." It's normal to feel frustrated- your feelings are valid! But, remember, rejections are part of the process. Every successful job seeker has been rejected before. Every job seeker has heard "NO" more often than "YES" And every "NO" has brought them a step closer to "YES" Job seekers, keep this in mind whenever you get rejected. You're getting closer to that job offer! 🙌 #joboffer #jobhunters #jobsearch #jobhunting

JOB HUNTING? So many times I see people post "the green banner" which is great if unemployed or asking for job opportunity help from their connections here. Most know that 75% plus of these posters and readers are recruiters(my guess) or job seekers. Our staff has selectively reached out to help(responding to their posting) and we either get no response or a response a week or two later. Just a humble suggestion, if you are looking for work and are unemployed, one needs to check for responses(if they posted) 24/7. You need to show urgency and when someone offers help or even if you posted asking for help. Urgency doesn't equal desperation. And ALL responses can lead to help and a new job. You never know. If you look many days later after your posting or a week or so later, you probably won't get help. Food for thought.... #stascom #jobhunting #thegreenbanner

If you’re applying to only 1 to 2 jobs a week your odds of finding a job is low. You should be applying to at least 10 or more a week. Finding a job is a numbers game the more people you get in front of the better odds you will have. Network, network and network some more. Most jobs are referrals. Happy job hunting 😁 #1hrexpert #openforwork #jobsearch #jobs #lookingforajob #hr

In the current market, job searching is tough. Everyone has a different method for job hunting but as a recruiter and someone who sees this market from a unique perspective, the NUMBER ONE top tip I could give someone on the market right now would be to TAILOR YOUR APPROACH!! It would blow your mind how hard it is for companies to make a hire off of job postings because of the sheer quantity of resumes they have to sort through. Most of which don't have the basic qualifications listed on the posting. Applying to jobs where you would be a strong applicant, is the BEST approach. Read through job postings, look at the requirements, and look into the company that posted the role to see if you would make a good fit. Happy hunting!

Part 2 - Reverse Recruiters Finally, job hunting is a full time job. I suggest to my unemployed clients to spend a solid five hours a day job hunting, at least. To my employed job or career changers, I suggest using every free minute you have during the day, plus evenings and weekends. I mention this to say, it would be valuable to know how much time a day a reverse recruiter spends on a single client or whether they must split their time accordingly with a number of clients. My guess is that you will get some guarantee of how much time per day they are devoting to you for the monthly payment. Bottomline, I imagine that there are successful job hunters using reverse recruiters as I have known excellent job developers down through the years. Just make sure that you know what you are paying for and manage your expectations accordingly.
