🌟 Transforming Ordinary Transactions into Extraordinary Experiences 🌟
I'm truly inspired by the incredible journey of Will Guidara, the visionary behind some of the most iconic dining experiences. With his relentless pursuit of radical reinvention and fostering a true partnership between the kitchen and the dining room, Will has shown us that magic can be created in any business.
In his latest venture, AnnaGlow Virtual Consulting, Will continues to push the boundaries of hospitality. He reminds us that it's not just about delivering a service but creating memorable, over-the-top, bespoke experiences that leave a lasting impact.
Will's anecdotes about surprising a family with a magical sledding trip to Central Park or transforming a dining room into a beach paradise with mai-tais and beach chairs truly demonstrate the power of hospitality in transcending ordinary moments into extraordinary memories.
But what strikes me most is Will's commitment to his own team's growth. He emphasizes the importance of intention in delivering praise and criticism, highlighting that giving more, not less, is the key to overcoming business challenges. His philosophy that anyone, from a busser to an owner, can bring magic to their role is truly inspiring.
Today, Will Guidara's journey reminds us that every business has the potential to be a hospitality business. We can all infuse the magic of exceptional service into our work, for ourselves, our colleagues, and our customers.
I encourage you to explore AnnaGlow Virtual Consulting and dive into the sparkling stories of Will's journey alongside industry legends like Daniel Boulud and Danny Meyer. Let's all find the magic in what we do and continue to transform the ordinary into the extraordinary. 🚀

My favorite definition of hospitality has long been to create a feeling of home when someone is away or far from home. It's the industry I've called home longer than any other industry that I've ever worked in, and it's undoubtedly afforded me the most valuable skills that allow me to have the greatest impact in the lives of those work with.
This video is another remarkable definition of it, explained simply and wonderfully by Will Guidara.
I encourage everyone reading these words to come up with their own definition of hospitality, and then to ask yourself how you will apply it in your business moving forward in the latter half of 2024 and beyond.
