🌟 Create a Culture of Giving in Your Workplace! 🌟 I'm a huge advocate for Workplace Giving and the positive impact it creates within our community. Having led Westpac’s long-standing and generous workplace giving program, I know firsthand the positive impact it has in supporting community organisations to create positive change. And personally, it’s the easiest way to give regularly to charities, straight from your pre-tax pay. With the end of the financial year approaching, June is an ideal time to promote workplace giving. Providing employees the opportunity to give directly from their pay makes good business sense - it builds a more engaged, inclusive, and motivated workforce, and demonstrates a commitment to the community to staff, customers, and other stakeholders. Many organisations even double-match employee donations during this month, creating double the impact. Taking responsibility. It’s something a lot of employers expect from their team but don’t necessarily do themselves. That’s why, rather than just saying we’ll do things the right way (and hoping you trust us), we like to put our money where our mouth is – quite literally. At MP&Co, we take responsibility in a number of ways: ⭐ Giving back Sure, it’s nice that everyone focuses on charity at Christmas, but the sector’s incredible work needs support ALL year round. That’s why proceeds of our monthly workshops go to a range of local and national charities. This month, we’re supporting Caritas Salford and Farms for City Children. ⭐ Happy office Endorsed by Manchester's Good Employment Charter, we strive to be the workspace others look up to. We also share an office with two B Corps who inspire us daily. ⭐ B Corp bound Talking of B Corp, we've submitted our B Corp impact assessment and have been busy providing evidence to showcase how we go above and beyond; we're serious about aligning profit with purpose and should have the B Corp seal of approval to prove it soon enough. ⭐ Wellbeing We blend work with wellness days and team outings for balanced, inspired, and cohesive teams. On 9th May, we’re heading over to Disley with a few friendly faces for a private Freshwalks to stretch our legs and reconnect with each other amongst the stunning scenery at Lyme Park. ⭐ Mentoring Each month, we conduct 121 and group mentoring and coaching sessions to help the team reach their full potential. For our group session this month, we’ll be sharpening our skills on GA4. Being responsible isn’t just something we do when there’s a spotlight on us or we’re trying to impress someone.
