Leadership challenges the status quo and the situation.
The courage to find the things that need changing is one thing. To do something about it is quite another.
Leaders will question their decisions:
- Is this the correct thing to do?
- What are the consequences?
- Will I get in trouble?
- How will my team react?
And many, many more.
Ultimately, we may only have the gut feeling that it is the ‘right’ thing to do.
Even ‘right’ is extremely contextual and open to interpretation.
Then, the only thing is to commit and own the consequences.
Watching this was a great start to the day.

With one single action, we start a movement. Those movements define the culture. Is your self mastery and growth mindset level high enough to understand how your actions impact others in the moment and downstream from the moment? Thank you Elise Guimont Blackburn for sharing!

Just watched this video and it’s a great reminder of key leadership principles:
• Be courageous. Do what’s right, even if it’s unconventional.
• Lead by example and keep things simple.
• Remember, your actions have ripple effects.
And, you don’t have to originate the idea to act on it. If it’s good, follow suit. Let’s prioritize what’s right over our egos.
Here’s to being brave leaders! 🙌

Four takeaways for me from the video:
-Leadership needs not to be stressful, servant leadership speaks by action
-Act of kindness can be contagious and learned with only one person taking a simple step to be kind
-Your actions can lead to culture change without words
-People are watching and waiting for your positive action for them to copy and replicate
-As you let your light shine, you indirectly give others the permission to do the same

Great leaders ignite a culture of "we can do this" by setting clear examples and embracing bold ideas. They understand that their actions are infectious, inspiring their team to chart their own path towards impactful results.
