A stellar dev team shown here. Last year I spoke with 8 of the 14 shown, and one is currently working on an Apogee project. Sadly, two have passed, James Storey (white shirt in the very back) and Steven Hornback (green shirt). This 1996 Apogee Entertainment team would still kick ass if together today.
I got SO much entertainment out of this title.
I checked, and both James and Steven are listed in the games industry memorial page. If you have any suggestions on the text or links for them, please let me know. https://www.daglowslaws.com/-in-memoriam-games-industry-passed-away.html
Legendary game. I remember being amazed with the interactivity and intricate level design. Really deserves a lot more credit for setting new bars in the genre and the industry at large. Many of its innovations have yet to be surpassed or matched to this day.
Still one of my favorite games. Duke Nukem 3D!!
Literally the first PC game I ever played! Got mad love for this game even today still. What a team!
I’ll always remember that cd print, so cool! ☢️
Legendary OGs here. 🕹
The team should have been together for years.
Dark Knight at Groove Jones
3moScott Miller: is there something that is really preventing them to get back together to kick ass and chew bubblegum, even if they are all outta gum??
