This year, I serve as a Teaching Assistant for the Advanced Leadership Program (ALP) from the Center for Leadership (CL), along with Anna Mościcka, Eliza Durka, Zuzanna Ziomecka, and ♾ Chris Kobylecki. Here are my top quotes or concepts from the first residential session that mattered to me personally the most: - Everyone gets experience, and some get learning. - What is the work while being on the dancefloor or balcony? - Reaction vs Response. - Taking responsibility vs accepting blame. Let me know if this is useful for you because the next ALP sessions are comming :-)

Just back from a full-day leadership training workshop with a fantastic senior management team working in broadcasting. We spent the day talking about how their leadership impacts on their staff's mental health and wellbeing and what tools can be deployed to raise awareness and create space for psychological safety to enable conversations to take place in an environment of trust, empathy and without stigma. Thanks to Kim Noele Brice for leading the day with me and being the ever-constant support in this type of training. One of the takeaways we left them with is the power of Active Listening - such a powerful and often neglected tool for leaders who can give the greatest gift to their staff - the knowledge they are being listened to, without judgement or interruption. If you want to know more about this, look up Nancy Kline - her book Time to Think is a brilliant eye-opener.
