The Central Government may formulate National Hospitality Laws and it's policies together with enforcement directorate or regulatory bodies with international standards and house keeping facilities in all tourism related or oriented places in India. National tourism mapping through the concept code based tourism shall be established like exon tourism, cultural tourism, spiritual tourism, pilgrim tourism, healthcare tourism, farm tourism, educational tourism, science mission tourism and national portal to rate through dedicated rating agencies also to be established to bring tourists and to enhance the revenue by more than ten times of the present time within months. There needs facilities to stay at affordable and at premium categories on dedicated days. During off seasons, economical or affordable rate shall apply and during peak periods, premium rates shall apply and national tourism policies shall be formulated based on the same. All the tourism policies shall be fixed based on the concept of activity based costing or marginal costing.

Let's talk tourism. Tourism has grown significantly over the recent decades the number of International and domestic tourists has doubled since 2000, aviation companies have also opened up to International travels. Transport, hospitality, businesses and culture/ religions all from part of tourism and are components which make tourism possible. Sustainable tourism is important, hence It is important to offer opportunities of job creation to emerging economies and developing countries. Let us protect and serve nature because it has us.It is of the utmost importance to learn and understand how giving to nature can also benefit as when nature gives back.

𝗡𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 𝗡𝗦𝗪 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗧𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 The NSW Tourism Industry Council invites towns from across the state to showcase their tourism excellence at the prestigious Top Tourism Town Awards 2024.   The Top Tourism Town Awards recognise and applaud the tourism excellence of cities, towns, and villages throughout NSW.   There are three categories within the NSW Top Tourism Town program: • 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗧𝗼𝘄𝗻 – suited to established tourism towns where a range of attractions, accommodation and visitor experiences already exist, particularly those with a population over 5,000 people. • 𝗦𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗧𝗼𝘄𝗻 – suited to towns which are in the process of establishing a tourism strategy and developing visitor experiences, particularly those with a population below 5,000 people. • 𝗧𝗶𝗻𝘆 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗧𝗼𝘄𝗻 – for emerging towns in the process of establishing a visitor strategy and developing their tourist offerings, with a population less than 1,500 people. Work Insight: The Field of Tourism Topic: Components of Tourism Having previously talked about the forms of tourism and brief explanation was made on just 5 of the various forms of tourism. Today's episode will be based on the components of tourism. We have 4 main components of tourism but today's discussion will centre on "attraction". Attraction can be define as anything that could draw you away from your place of residence to a new destination. Types of Attraction 1. Natural attraction: are attractions that are natural such as lakes, waterfalls, beaches, hills, mountains, rocks etc 2. Man-made attraction: are attractions that are made by man for the touristic values and human consumption suh as recreational parks, hotels, art galleries, cinema etc. Man-made attraction or natural attraction, which of the types of attraction have you ever visited before? 2023 Resident Perceptions of British Columbia's Tourism Industry: Survey Results The results from Destination BC's 2023 Resident Perceptions of BC's Tourism Industry Survey, launched November 2023 to understand the perceptions BC residents have of the tourism industry on both community and provincial levels, is now available. The key research objectives were: ✔️ Identify how the tourism industry is perceived when it comes to being a contributor to new jobs & economic activity in local communities and in British Columbia. ✔️ Determine how important the tourism industry is perceived to be, to the well-being of local communities and the province. ✔️ Measure perceptions of the economic, social/cultural and environmental impacts tourism has in local communities and in BC. ✔️Gauge resident attitudes toward tourism volume in their communities and in BC during each season. "What factors do you think contribute to the emergence of overtourism?" Cities are experiencing a surge in tourist traffic, but the question is whether they are prepared to meet the demand or not. In fact, it appears that many of us have misunderstood the concept of tourism. Tourism sector in cities and especially in mountain regions is growing so quickly that there isn't enough time for nature to make the needed adjustments. A destination should develop organically. Increasing bed capacity to accommodate more tourists is not the answer. It will eventually overcrowd areas of the city that were not designed to accommodate the tourist influx. The relationship between tourism and culture is interdependent, with each relying on the other for various reasons. I believe overtourism often stems from cultural tourism as a primary catalyst, leading to a number of factors that attract tourists.

The hospitality sector is underrated, for example tourism, the tourism industry is not given enough credit and recognition for its value.  When many people think about the tourism industry, they visualize only the front-line workers, the Holidays Representatives, the waiters etc. But in reality, the tourism industry stretches much further than that. The tourism industry is closely interconnected with a number of global industries and sectors ranging from trade to ecological conservation.  Tourism is important in many different ways, it generates foreign exchange currencies, which contributes to the host economy. Tourism contributes government revenues, it generates employment, it leads to the commercialization of art forms and hand crafts and it brings in wealth, exposure, growth and employment to name a few

What is tourism Tourism is more than just visiting new places or taking a temporary break from everyday life. It’s about learning about different cultures, immersing you in local traditions, and gaining a deeper understanding of the world around us. In a fast-paced, globalized world, tourism acts as a bridge that connects people across borders, promoting mutual respect and appreciation for different ways of life.
