One #LowEarthOrbit (LEO) satellite service is enough, so why bother subscribing to two different #LEO providers?
Joey Janssen and Adam Steadman provide a clear answer in this video. Using #Starlink and #OneWeb as examples, these providers have different satellite coverage and their coverage has different patterns. Generally speaking, OneWeb's satellites go from north to south, while Starlink's satellites go from west to east. Combining the two means you can stay connected no matter which direction you move.
But the key to achieving this is actually the #Peplink#BR2Pro dual #5Grouter. With this vehicle-friendly router in your car or mobile unit, you can easily integrate multiple Internet sources, have them back up each other, and have two #5G connections for added redundancy.

High-speed PON is clearly a growing phenomenon. With demand for ever-faster broadband service still soaring and massive government subsidies for fiber network builds now available, the pace of high-speed PON development will only accelerate. Where is PON technology heading? What new services and applications will the technology enable? What are the greatest challenges in upgrading and deploying high-speed PON? How can these challenges be overcome? In this video interview, Harj Ghuman, vice president of strategic products at Precision Optical Technologies, Inc., explores these and other issues.

As we all know, the demand for bandwidth in the subsea industry is ongoing. High fiber count SDM cable systems are landing everywhere and traffic requires to be forwarded to data centers inland. In addition, some geographies such as the Middle East have a need for high capacity diverse terrestrial connectivity. But as we all know we are getting very close to the Shannon limit and therefore incremental capacity resulting from transmission technology is becoming less and less. Infinera's solution is to expand the usable terrestrial spectrum to Super-C+L, providing another ~25% on top of what the next-gen transponders can provide in terms of fiber capacity increase. This results in a significant reduction of fiber IRU cost. Designed for both web-scale operators and communications service providers, Infinera’s enhanced GX Series compact modular platform provides the lowest cost and power per bit solution and the greatest agility for network operators. Stay out of the way with Ubiquiti's Wave Technology, 60Ghz won't interfere with the more common 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz radios. Ideal for metropolitan areas or places where there is lots of RF interference.
Great for high bandwidth, low latency wireless networks for CCTV, campus deployments and many, many others.
Very useful.....
