Thank you to our Houston employees for volunteering at Kids’ Meals. We worked alongside other volunteers to prepare healthy lunches for over 8,600 preschool-aged children in our community. The meals prepared will be in the hands of hungry children soon! Thank you Kids’ Meals for the great work you are doing in our community and thank you to our volunteers for helping to feed our future.

💖 One way to raise compassionate, empathetic, and socially responsible children is to encourage and support their passion for change, no matter how young they are.
Children are naturally curious, kind, and creative, and when you empower them to turn their ideas into action, you give them the tools to become changemakers in their own right.
Whether it's through volunteering, fundraising, advocacy, or simply being kind to others, you can make service and kindness a cornerstone of your family's values and build a better world together. Here are actions you can take to get started: https://lnkd.in/ggt_vmZz
Fatherhood engagement is much more than outreach or marketing. Father-inclusive practice recognizes the crucial role fathers play in their children's lives, and proactively engages and supports them in the parenting process. In turn, it benefits children, families, and communities.
We'll hear from the Commonwealth Center for Fathers and Families (CCFF) of Kentucky, an innovative nonprofit focused on increasing positive fatherhood engagement and inclusion across Kentucky.

Yea it’s a five minute video, who watches those anymore!
However, if you followed us over the course of Serve Week 2024 (The Ocho) this is an awesome wrap up and great work by the team.
We try and use LinkedIn to open a window into our culture. And while Foundry Commercial isn’t perfect and we will always have work to do in pursuit of our standards, I think this is one of the things we get really right.
We are a services company and spending time with these amazing organizations, which we encourage you to check out and support, reminds us what true service looks like.
It is a week where we try to give back and we always end up getting so much more than we give.
Great job Lauren and the entire Serve Week support team.

The Give NCW campaign is a great platform for teaching your children about philanthropy and the importance of giving back to their communities! Here are some ideas for how to get started:
1. Carve out some time to talk about gratitude and how you can show your thankfulness by supporting causes you care about in your community.
2, Ask your children what they care most about: Animal welfare? The environment? Music and arts? Helping others less fortunate?
3. Use the list of participating nonprofits at GiveNCW.org (or in the printed directory) to find organizations that match their interests.
4. Determine a giving budget: Can your child use some of their allowance to pitch in? Will you as parents match their gifts? Remember, minimum gift through Give NCW is just $10!
5. Visit GiveNCW.org and start giving!

That's wonderful! Children practicing humanity is a heartwarming sight. Here are some examples of children demonstrating humanity:
1. Volunteering: Kids helping at food banks, animal shelters, or participating in community clean-ups.
2. Empathy and kindness: Children comforting a friend who's upset, sharing toys, or including others in play.
3. Fundraising: Kids organizing bake sales, charity runs, or lemonade stands to support causes they care about.
4. Environmental activism: Children participating in beach cleanups, planting trees, or promoting recycling.
5. Helping others in need: Kids assisting family members or neighbors with tasks, or raising money for a friend's medical expenses.
Encouraging children to practice humanity helps them develop essential life skills like empathy, compassion, and social responsibility. It also fosters a sense of purpose and belonging, shaping them into caring and engaged citizens of the future!
If you're looking for ways to encourage children to practice humanity, consider:
- Role-modeling and teaching empathy and kindness
- Engaging them in age-appropriate volunteer work
- Discussing social issues and ways to make a positive impact
- Supporting their ideas and initiatives for helping others
Remember, every small act of humanity counts, and nurturing this spirit in children can have a lasting impact!
Great work! Thank you for making a difference and supporting our community.
