Innovation is key to transforming sustainable business travel. Through our diverse portfolio of mobility solutions, we’ve partnered with the U.K.'s Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl) to create one of the country's largest on-site car club programs. This program has saved an estimated 100 tons of CO2e emissions and promoted shared mobility for more sustainable journeys. Learn more: https://bit.ly/3xefB8X. #EnterpriseMobility #Mobility

🌿 European mobility week: paving the way for a better future 🌿 EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK is the European Commission’s flagship awareness-raising campaign on sustainable mobility solutions. It promotes behavioural change in favour of active mobility, public transport, and other sustainable & intelligent transport solutions. 🌎💚 This year, EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK highlights the mobility initiatives to save energy 🚴♂️🚆 https://lnkd.in/d6heWsi Ascendance Flight Technologies’s solutions Sterna & Atea were chosen as a Mobility Action in favour of sustainability in aviation and for its pioneering approach✈ We are developing: Sterna, a hybrid electric propulsion technology that is scalable and modular allowing aircraft equipped with it to reduce up to 40% carbon emissions & fuel frugality. And our evtol Atea, 1st aircraft with Sterna inside, as a low-carbon alternative to helicopters. It allows to save up to 80% carbon emissions compared to a traditional helicopter mission. It also features a flight noise divided by 4. Less noise, more action! 🌱💼 #SustainableMobility #EuropeanMobilityWeek #aviation #Sterna #Atea #evtol

Important thoughts from my colleague Simon Swan, our Global Solution Director for New Mobility & Airport Hubs. About the crucial influence of transportation inherent on the environment, quality of life, and economy. As has always been the case throughout history, new transportation technology options will continue to be introduced and have major effects. It is up to us all to plan ahead carefully, to ensure the new options are introduced and developed in a deliberate and planned way that will result in needed improvements. "We expect that cities... will continue to support #micromobility to reach their climate targets as one of many #sustainable modes, and thus further invest in micromobility #infrastructure" “We also see rising consumer interest to integrate micromobility into their everyday lives, since modes such as #ebikes allow for longer trips and more use cases, and since micromobility will often become the cheaper and more #convenient mode of travel compared to private cars, particularly in inner cities.” #SustainableMobility | #ElectricMobility | #MoreChoices #Transportation | #MobilityForesight Kind regards, Dale Principal, Mobility Foresight https://lnkd.in/gWhiJW_s

We have now defined our climate targets even more ambitiously and I am excited to officially announce today that we at Munich Airport want to achieve the Net Zero target by 2035 instead of 2050 as originally planned. This means that we will reduce our C02 emissions by at least 90 percent by 2035 and actively and permanently remove the remaining maximum ten percent from the atmosphere. As a green mobility hub, we are keen to make our contribution to the decarbonization of aviation. On the road to Net Zero, we are focusing on four main areas: Energy supply, buildings, vehicle fleet and airport-specific facilities and technical equipment. Today we published what our dual climate strategy looks like, what specific measures we are planning and how we will remove the remaining maximum ten percent of emissions with removal projects https://lnkd.in/em26R6r4 #MUCgoesNetZero
