The Americas 2024 Triple Helix and ACEEU Conference has officially kicked off 🌟    Distinguished speakers from LATAM and Europe opened the conference, including ACEEU Chair Thorsten Kliewe   Adding a little storytelling to his speech, Thorsten, shared the inspiring story of Kevin, an Australian koala, who was forced to step out of his comfort zone (leaving his tree) to see and experience something new. With this story, Thorsten challenged the audience to reflect on current and future changes and challenges by asking two powerful questions related to higher education:    -What is your frightening place?   -What are you not acting upon, even if you know it is coming?     Join us in rethinking the future of higher education and courageously explore and create potential solutions. To achieve this goal, B Lab makes free assessment tools available to companies and grants its certification to whose who meet the standards. Saskia Rotshuizen: "We often consider the B Corp certification as the start of a trajectory and a process of continuous improvement, not as a final outcome. Companies are becoming aware of the points on which work afterwards". In Belgium, the B Corp community currently consists of 79 B Corps, across 23 industries.
