Unfortunately, many patients with successful cerebral thrombectomy for clots causing ischemic stroke still have unfavorable outcomes. This paper accepted in 2013 showed promising results for cyclical aspiration but 11 years later we are still using nearly the same static systems outside of research trials. It’s time to #ReADAPT the aspiration procedure. With improved research & devices #WeCanDoBetter #BetterFPE #betteroutcomes
