Experian Hyderabad's CSR committee recently organized a volunteer day at its office in the spirit of community and service. The event was brimming with activities aimed at fostering teamwork and community participation. The Clay Bowl Painting saw 75 volunteers creatively painting clay bowls, which they would later use to feed birds and enrich the local environment. The Seed Ball Making saw 80 volunteers crafting seed balls to promote sustainability, and taking them home to plant in their gardens. The team also organized a blood donation drive with 63 employees impacting countless lives. Participants not only contributed actively to meaningful causes but also enjoyed a sense of camaraderie and fulfilment throughout the activities. Thank you to all who participated, embodying the spirit of corporate citizenship and setting an inspiring example. #ExperianHyderabad #CSR #Inspiring

CEO, DV Survivor Turned Thriver I Disabled Army Iraq Combat War Veteran I Educator for Awareness in Advocating against DV, Spousal Rape, MST, Child Abuse, PTSD & Discrimination I Profound Speaker I Author I Humanitarian.
A few weeks ago I reached out to connect w/several of you- who's profile shown you either directly or indirectly worked w/the DV population. Thus, I took for granted that "everyone" had either personally experienced DV or Sexual Assaults'- or has/had a close relative- or loved one who experienced DV; which, set a passion w/in you to establish a private or 501c DV agency -or becoming a member of an elite DV organization- solely b/c of that fact. Fortunately, there were several who were transparent- stated in their bio- profile- they were a DV or Sexual Assault Victim/ Survivor- others stated they've "personal" experience w/DV or Sexual Assault. That too, I can respect- b/c it sends the message to whomever visits your page that- you can relate to them b/c of your past personal experience - not just by what you read in a text book or during face to face- hands on clinicals; but, you've actually experienced the trauma to relate. I began w/80 connections- recently deleted several- now 28. Numbers doesn't mean anything to me- however, what does is-connecting w/individuals who have established their own private or 501c DV-Sexual Assaults' agencies & are not concerned about self glorifications- accolades & awards given to them for astounding speeches on topics of DV or Sexual assaults -nor am I concerned about how many years someone worked -studied - or how many DV calls a police officer responded to. Nothing's' wrong with any of it- I applaud you all; but that isn't the lane I need to be in. Finally, weeks ago I shared on one of my FB post- there have been an influx of DV agencies popping up like wild flowers- noticeably about the latter of 2018 -even more so- soon after COVID. There was a time- there weren't many DV agencies in local cities-& those that were well known to everyone in the community became very lackadaisical in their hiring process- resulting in staff harboring donated items that were often donated to the facilities for individuals & families- Much of the donated items would be taken home by staff. So, I pray this won't be the case w/the recent private/501c agencies- but actually Do the Right thing -don't just establish a 501c agency b/c you don't have to pay taxes, or b/c that's something you always wanted to do; but do it b/c this is your way of paying it forward-by helping other Victims & Survivors become self sufficient & be able to utilize the tools they've learned from being in your facility(s) - I don't know how much of a passion anyone has in establishing a DV agency, but if their passion is anything like mine or more, then I know they & their agency will be a SUCCESS & the individuals & families they service will definitely benefit. Good thing is - individuals & families of DV are aware there's now many more choices to choose from for safety; therefore, they & their family(s) never have to stay at any DV facility where the facility is not living up to its full potential in providing the services that many profess to provide.

Formerly incarcerated individuals face significant challenges when it comes to finding employment due to the stigma associated with their criminal history. However, in an effort to promote fair hiring practices and improve reentry outcomes, some jurisdictions have implemented "Ban the Box" legislation. The primary purpose of "Ban the Box" legislation is to give formerly incarcerated individuals a fair chance at employment by delaying inquiries about their criminal history until later in the hiring process. The name "Ban the Box" refers to the checkbox on job applications that applicants are typically asked to check if they have a criminal conviction. The other day, I led this campaign project at work that I am so excited to share with you…... “Code Red Campaign was the Project, an initiative to empower women in our society through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). So, what exactly was this Code Red Campaign?🤔 This was an initiative that focused on providing essential hygiene kits such as sanitary pads and innerwear, aiming to fight period poverty in underserved communities and prisons. We donated essential and dignity kits to women and young children in need, including those at the Women's Prisons, which not only made a difference in their lives but also on how our brand is perceived. (PS: This is where I also learnt that children under 4 years stay with their mothers in prison) … This project was implemented across various regions in the country and I can say for sure…. it was a rewarding experience. It allowed me to connect with communities, improve brand perception, and build our organization’s positive reputation. It's amazing how a simple act of kindness can go a long way in making a difference and boosting your brand's visibility. This campaign was a testament to the power of empathy, compassion, and human connection. It highlighted the importance of extending a helping hand to those in need, irrespective of their circumstances. I would encourage brands to consider incorporating CSR initiatives into their business strategies. This goes a long way in helping your brand grow and improve its perception with your audience. I would like to hear on the comment section, is there a project that you participated in that made you feel how I did about the Code Red Campaign? #BrandVisibility #CSR #EmpoweringWomen #CodeRedCampaignProject

🚫War is not for children. 2023 has again been a year marked by war and conflict in many places around the world. This has made life and existence for some of the world's most vulnerable children even more uncertain, unsafe and dangerous. At Orange Cyberdefense we believe that the world should be a safe place for children to grow up. That is why we have chosen to donate all profits from the sale of NetClean Technologies' solutions, which can detect CSAM (Child Sexual Abuse Material) in companies' IT environments and on the Internet, to Save the Children Denmark. Christmas is about joy, gratitude, thoughtfulness and hope, and that is the message we would like to pass on to the children who are the most vulnerable in the world. Our ambition is to "Build a safer digital society". This is what we work for every day. That is why we had no doubt that our collaboration with NetClean should be non-profit and that we would donate all profits to Save the Children. In addition, we have also chosen to skip the employee Christmas gifts this year and put an extra amount on top of the donation. We know that Save the Children will use the donation in a way that will make a real difference to many vulnerable children's lives. If you also want to support Save the Children's work, you can donate here: Private: https://redbarnet.dk/ Company: https://lnkd.in/dapgkU6Y #RedBarnet #SaveTheChildren #ProtectWhatMatters #SaferDigitalSociety #Donation
Empowering Chennai: Making a Difference Together In Chennai, during the Global Month of Volunteering, a heartwarming collaboration unfolded. Volunteers from Amazon and Donatekart joined forces, going beyond mere provision to deliver hope. Together, they packed 550 ration kits, each containing not just essentials but also bundles of happiness. But this wasn't just about giving out supplies. It was about lifting up those who need it most, especially women and children. Through this partnership, lives were changed, dreams were supported, and futures were made stronger. The impact was clear to see – in the smiles, in the newfound hope in people's eyes. It showed that when we come together with compassion, amazing things can happen, reaching far beyond the streets of Chennai. To everyone who volunteered and supported this cause, your kindness is what made it all possible. Your dedication is what drives positive change. Let's keep spreading kindness, leaving a lasting mark of compassion in Chennai and beyond. 💫 Shreya Mishra Shravani Kalkonda Nagendra Babu #GlobalMonthOfVolunteering #Amazon #Donatekart #Chennai #CommunityImpact #NGO #Empowerment #Gratitude
