Last week, Team Extreme started the erection process for the Fort Dupont Ice Arena project in SE DC. This structure is located in front of the Ice Arena and consists of Structural Steel, Joists, Decking, a feature Stair and some other Miscellaneous Metals. ‼ Impact Test Results: Steel vs. GRP Grating ‼ Check out our video showing an impact test we carried out to compare the resilience of Steel Grating with our RE-GRID3838 Open Mesh Grating! 💥 Watch as a 76kg steel billet is dropped from varying heights onto both types of panels. At the minimum height of 0.62m – i.e. approximately a 5kN Force – the Flowforge panel was completely elastically deformed due to the force of the billet.
