Last week we concluded our 5th Intake for 2023 at Geofabrics Australasia in Queensland. With participants from Geofabrics, Glencore Technology, Thales, CR Powered by Epiroc and The Arnott's Group, we spent 5 months learning about ‘leadership’, ‘change management’, ‘communication’, ‘engagement’, ‘giving and receiving feedback’, ‘listening’, ‘time management’ and ‘strategy deployment’. All attendees were carefully selected for their natural leadership abilities, regardless of the authority they currently hold in their respective businesses. I sometimes hear the condescending expression “Diamond in the Rough”.
