Formerly Incarcerated, Convicted People & Families Movement (FICPFM)’s Post

#FICPFM was founded on the belief in ending inhumane treatment and modern slavery. This #Juneteenth, we proudly share our co-founder Dorsey Nunn's CNN interview about the ACA 8 - End Slavery in CA Act. Watch the video and join our mission to dismantle the remnants of oppression. As we honor those violently lost to chattel slavery and those still enduring servitude today, let’s continue to fight for justice and equality. #CountUSIn #EndSlavery #FreeTheVote

The only thing this bill will undermine is the horrible practice of enslaving people and working them without any real economic advantage to themselves or their families....instead the labor is benefiting large corporations while robbing families, vulnerable families who are often already in crisis. Dorsey, this is a great interview, and great work!!
