Posted this morning in the Overstory slack: "I will be riding my bike from Munich to Venice starting tomorrow morning. Back the 15th." (There are some serious mountains in between for anyone not looking at a map.) Love this team and how passionate they are about the outdoors 🌳, how curious they are to learn new things and how they push themselves out of their comfort zone both at work and outside of work.

What is on your bucket list? Personally, I would like to walk The Camino de Santiago (the Way of St. James). Why? I'm just highly intrigued by making this Pilgrimage. The most popular route is nearly 500 miles long. It starts near Biarritz in France and stretches all the way to the Cathedral of Santiago in Spain. I think it's vital to have wildly important goals and dreams. I think that keeps us going. Actually, I think it's even more important than that because it keeps us motivated! How can we stay motivated other than planning our bucket list someday trip? 1. See the bigger picture! What I'm doing impacts those around me! When you know others are counting on you, it ups the ante...You are able to keep going to help others! 2. Find ways to reward yourself and your team! When people are working toward a prize, they tend to go a little harder and push themselves a bit further! 3. Try new activities. Get outside of your comfort zone. Stepping outside the comfort zone is often where creativity and innovation are born! What is your wildly important goal or dream? Stay motivated and achieve it! #servicefirstmtg #leadershiplessons #dreambig #playbig #bucketlist

👋 Hey everyone! Apologies for the quietness due to my summer break, but I'm back now! 🟢 How was your summer? Did you study anything interesting? My vacation was a whirlwind of adventures and journeys. It truly recharged my batteries. Amidst the travels, I managed to work on some research papers and served as a reviewer for a few others. But the real highlight was exploring the world of downhill mountain biking! I honed my skills and fitness in the great outdoors, preparing for upcoming competitions and personal well-being. And yes, I'll continue with mountain biking, but don't worry; I'll naturally start sharing more about sales and sales management again🔥🔥🔥 Before diving into new autumn endeavors, it's essential to pause and reflect on the best moments and why they mattered. A reminder of how privileged we are in many ways. The picture below 👇👇👇 captures my peak moment – the joy of pushing myself, intense training, quality time with family, and acquiring new skills. 🙏 I believe this summer granted me the courage for more downhill adventures, alongside valuable insights from the maximal oxygen uptake test for my mountain biking training. 🟢 I hope your summer was enriching and rejuvenating as well. If you have any questions or collaboration ideas, here I am. Just pm me! ☝️ 👉 Stay tuned as I'll soon share the exciting plans for autumn! If sales and leadership interest you, feel free to reach out and connect! 😊🚀 #adventures #downhillbiking #newchallenges #motivation #dh #mtb #xc #sales #b2b #marketing

Upon my return, I'll be diving into a mountain 🏔️ of emails 📨 what are some strategies you all have used following a long break?... 📧💼 #FamilyTravel #NewPerspectives #EmailManagement

There is a specific hole at a specific golf course where I got the call that I landed my dream job in Tech. 3 years later on a company day off, I’d get news on that same exact hole that my role at another company was being eliminated. Highs and lows. I don’t think it was a coincidence, nor do I believe in coincidences at all. I do believe there is significance in physical locations where we experience life altering experiences. I also believe that we should continue to revisit and frequent those locations - there’s something there for us. Can I make sense of or explain why the 3rd Hole at Costa Mesa Country Club happens to be marked by these two meaningful events in my career? I cannot. But I can tell you that every time I round the corner and head to the tee box, my eyes and ears are surely perked. Lesson here: Don’t forget those places where life took a turn. Often what looks like a setback can be a setup for more than you could dream up on your own. PS - this is not a pic from Costa Mesa. This is a shot out of the lava in Hawaii.

The happiest places in the world work less and vacation more – which is the opposite of what we do in America. (via Matthew McConaughey)
