This FORVIA post on Internal Women in Engineering Day stresses the importance of building diverse teams. In particular, gender diversity in the industry is a must and should be a constant effort. At FORVIA we strive to progress and since 2019: 🚀 Female managers and professionals have increased from 24% to 30.9%, highlighting our dedication to fostering talent and fostering growth opportunities. 🌟 External hiring of female candidates has surged from 26% to an impressive 38.5%, a confirmation of our effort and success in attracting diverse talents. 👩💼 Female representation in the Group Leadership Committee has risen from 14% to 27%, showcasing our commitment to cultivating a leadership team reflective of our workforce's diversity. The journey is not done, let's continue it.

INTERNATIONAL WOMEN IN ENGINEERING DAY 2024 But do we have any female engineers in GPV? Yes, we do. And today, we join a global celebration of International Women in Engineering Day. We are happy to have so many strong women in GPV, in various functions, and we hope our female engineers will inspire more women to choose a career in engineering. Our workforce across our global sites and functions is diverse, and we appreciate every one of our colleagues, whatever their gender, for making it possible for us to accomplish more within our business and for our customers. Happy International Women in Engineering Day everybody! Despite the progress made, engineering remains a male-dominated industry, with only 16.5% of engineers in the UK being female. INWED aims to provide a platform for female engineers, playing a crucial role in encouraging young women to pursue engineering.
