In the rapidly evolving world of technology, #diversity is not just a buzzword; for me it is a crucial element for driving #innovation and achieving success. Women in #Engineering contribute to this diversity, fostering a culture where innovative ideas can thrive.  Research has shown that teams with gender diversity make more accurate and effective decisions as they consider a wider range of factors and viewpoints. This leads to better outcomes and more successful projects. To be successful we have to further break barriers to encourage more women to enter and succeed in engineering. This includes: 🎯 promoting education for girls from a young age and providing scholarships and support for women in engineering programs 🎯 creating inclusive workplace policies that support work-life balance, provide mentorship opportunities, and address gender biases 🎯 Highlighting the achievements of women engineers and advocating for equal opportunities within the industry For me, the inclusion of women in engineering is not only a matter of fairness but a strategic advantage for innovation and success. Its not about "How people are, Its all about finding the right ones" ✨ In January, I started my internship journey at ILEM Japan. Initially, I didn't quite gel with my colleagues whom I started working with. But then, something remarkable happened, As I engaged with other people in the organization, collaborated on projects, my perspective underwent a transformative shift. I realized that it's not merely about the individuals you encounter; it's about finding the right ones – those who inspire, support and uplift you. At ILEM Japan, I finally found those "right ones" – teammates who also became my friends in span of just 1 month and who helped me grow, made work enjoyable. Thanks to Tushar Sharma, Aditya Singh, Tripti Sharma, Pathak Usha Hemendra, Yash Gurnani for being those "Right ones" ;) and for making such cherishable memories. This experience taught me that fitting in isn't about changing who you are. It's about finding where you belong, where you can grow, and finding your place to shine. My Internship Experience at Continental: Navigating the Future of Mobility 🌟   I'm thrilled to take you through my internship experience at Continental, where I've been immersing myself in an incredible learning journey for the past months. Continental shines not just for its commitment to innovation but also for creating an environment where interns like myself can thrive and grow. 📚 At Continental, there's a strong culture of mentorship and support among interns (In the picture below are my intern colleagues Ayoub Madani, Rahim Öztürk). My adventure here has allowed me to get hands-on with various aspects of the business, from project management to reporting and analysis, constantly broadening my horizons. 🌱💡 The team responsible for guiding me places a lot of trust in what I can do, allowing me the freedom to tackle my work independently.🧑💻 Yet, they’re always readily available to assist the moment I seek guidance by my supervisor Tanja Sollazzo, and her colleagues Daniel Haeffelin & @Frank-Dieter Draese fostering a nurturing and productive work environment. The work schedule is highly flexible, allowing individuals to choose their own arrival and departure times. 🧘♂️ Currently, Continental is looking for eager and innovative students to join their Autonomous Mobility team. These opportunities are located in the beautiful setting of Lindau by Lake Constance, Germany, and start September 2024, lasting for at least six months.
