It's funny how things work out sometimes. A few weeks ago I released a video on my World of Warcraft addiction and although it received 5,000 views, to be honest I thought it could have done better. As fate would have it, the universe had bigger plans. I received an email from someone who had seen the video and they wanted to invite me onto their podcast. Turns out it was Phil Keoghan's wife. He's the host of The Amazing Race on CBS. (The Amazing Race averages 10M views per episode and it's been on the air for 30 seasons!!) And of course they had an open spot which perfectly aligned with my U.S. tour schedule and the two free days I could fly to LA to record in studio. One of the my favorite quotes is by Steve Jobs, "you can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future." So I guess this was another one of those times. No matter how hard it is right now trust that your dots will connect somehow someway in the future. Keep going and never give up. You can watch the full interview in the comments. My intention was to be more relaxed and candid, and personally I feel it brought out a better dynamic for the interview, but I'll let you watch it for yourself.
