My take on luck 🤞 Thomas Jefferson once famously said, "I find that the harder I work, the more luck I seem to have." And it's true - there is no luck in anything, just smart and hard work. So, why do some people still believe in luck? Take the lottery, for example. The odds of claiming the jackpot in a Powerball drawing are 1 in 292.2 million. To put this in perspective, you have a 1 in 1,222,000 chance of death or injury from lightning in a given year, a 1 in 57,825 chance of dying from a hornet, wasp, or bee sting during your lifetime, and a 1 in 35,074 lifetime chance of dying in a cataclysmic storm. It's clear that the odds of winning the lottery or anything for that matter are not in your favor. Instead of relying on luck, let's follow Jefferson's advice and focus on working hard and smart which is the only possible way towards winning. Success comes from dedication, persistence, and a willingness to put in the effort. I am sure you all agree but if you disagree I would love to hear your thoughts and comments.
