The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) recently announced more than $300 million in 48C tax credits to seven hydrogen-related projects across five states. This funding is part of a broader allocation of $1.93 billion under the Qualifying Advanced Energy Project Credit to accelerate clean energy manufacturing and reduce greenhouse emissions. We're proud to highlight that Ballard Power Systems, one of our founding members, is among the recipients. Ballard is set to build a new facility in Rockwall, Texas, advancing their 'local for local' strategy with innovative, automated manufacturing processes. This new facility will greatly enhance Ballard's production capabilities, enabling them to meet increasing market demand for their zero-emission fuel cell solutions.
