𝐃𝐢𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰? International Women's Day was proposed by Clara Zetkin in 1910, an advocate for women's rights, was first celebrated in 1911. This very day aims to highlight and raise awareness on women's equality, and commemorate women's achievements globally. Being the world's first female engineer, Edith Clarke (1883 - 1959) braved herself amidst the prejudice she had faced in the early stages of her career, which includes not being able to find job as an engineer despite her great results achieved at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). She is now greatly known for her invention, the graphical calculator, a necessary tool for engineers! (Mcfadden, 2018) The world's technology is constantly and rapidly revolutionising, with an increasing number of women stepping into the technology world, making remarkable changes. Let us take this time to celebrate all the women who has impacted our daily lives, no matter their profession! 🦸♀️ Read more about a revolutionary technology, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐰𝐢𝐧, 𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲, here: https://lnkd.in/gS72nMKk #IWD #technology #engineer #industrial #solutions
