Does it seem like it’s gotten more difficult to find a new job lately? It’s not you. ZipRecruiter data says it actually does take people longer to find a new job these days. People aren’t quitting en masse like they were during the pandemic. With ghost jobs populating the internet and thousands of people applying for every actual open job, you need an advantage. That advantage is called a recruiter. Recruiters like me can help get you in front of the right people and identify the open roles you would be an ideal fit for. As a recruiter at Gables Search Group I make it my job to listen closely to the professionals that come to me for help, so I can make an ideal match, not just the most convenient one. If you’d like to get started on a real, bona fide job search today — one that will pay off quickly — reach out.

Job data says there are plenty of jobs out there, but as a recruiter at Gables Search Group, I talked to job seekers every day who come to me feeling utterly frustrated with trying to land a new role. Why the discrepancy? There are certainly plenty of jobs listed as open, but for those aggressively pursuing new employment, it can be frustrating how few of those jobs actually seem to exist when explored. Ghost jobs are just one problem. There’s also long drawn out interview processes and inexplicable gaps in communication. It can be incredibly frustrating to be a talented, experienced professional. Working with a recruiter is one way to streamline the experience of looking for a new job. As a recruiter, I quickly hyper-target to match job seekers up with the right open roles and hiring managers. Aligning with a recruiter is a great way to show potential employers you’re serious and professional. Call me today if you want to get started on a new job search.

Next up on our Series of "10 Job Search Mistakes to Avoid" This one may be a bit controversial among some recruiters, but I'm not afraid to put it out there. Mistake #2: Don't rely on ONE recruiting agency or recruiter to help you find a job! Some might promise you the 'DREAM JOB' and then go radio silent, leaving you feeling discouraged. If you're on the job hunt, cast a wide net, connect with various professionals. Remember, each recruiter brings different opportunities to the table. If one doesn't have the perfect fit, another might surprise you! Keep in mind, recruiters are working on behalf of the companies looking to hire. So, while we're excellent guides, putting all your job-hunting eggs in one basket might not lead to the golden opportunity you're seeking. Let's navigate this job search journey together! #careeradvice #jobsearchtips #recruiterwithheart❤️

ARE YOU SUPER FRUSTRATED WITH YOUR CURRENT JOB! I BET YOU ARE! Trust me - 8 out of 10 professionals gifted with a 9 to 5 job are super frustrated with their 12 hour + job amidst a cruel and cranky Boss and Chemelon type back stabbing comrades. Ooooooooooooch! Out of sheer frustration, these highly educated and talented folks send 100's of cv's wrt jobs posted on LinkedIn and other Job Portals but only to get 1 interview and 1 rejection! Again a big Ooooooooch! Guess, these brilliant guys are searching jobs in the wrong place. Believe it or not, many job vacancies are not posted anywhere - positions are filled up through references. And many Independent Job Recruiters receive Recruitment Mandates through various sources. Hence it makes sense to get in touch with such Independent Job Recruiters / Job Consultants. So, if you are frantically searching for an overseas job, it's high time that we get connected. I have placed a couple of guys in various companies / countries and one guy will hopefully fly to St.Lucia very soon.( New York & Manhattan is just 5 hrs + away from St.Lucia ) Say cheers to Life!

🚀Sales Operations Champion 💰Advancing Revenue 🏢 Managing Multiple Retail Units 💼Financial Oversight 🛍️Customer Experience
For all those who feel like you are working an up hill battle finding that new position or career, well it is! I have delt with the nepotism, the ghosting, low balling of salary and even scams. I have been asked to complete case studies and 30/60/90 day new hire outlines. I have emailed completed documents to never hear from the organization. Not even a simple response of, “received and we will review. We will contact you in the next two weeks with the direction we decide to go.” This article shares what the hiring demographic looks like. I don’t mean to send this to deter you, but only to give you validation that it’s not you. It is the systems in place. Stay positive, do the things that make you happy throughout the day, work on continuous learning and keep applying. Reaching out to recruiters, reach out to your network colleagues and make meaningful new connections. Be creative, highlight your personality and skills. You will get what your worth, with a position that gives you purpose and has meaning. Good luck out there!

Estate Staffing Director at DM Estate Staffing (formerly known as Domestic | Match and Private Chef | Match)
I absolutely love being a recruiter. Have I already shared that before? I have the privilege of connecting with AMAZING candidates each and every day. Candidates who genuinely are invested in their job search, who want to listen, learn and grow in their search and in their next role, and who follow up and respond in a timely manner and with a professional tone. A+! But my job is easy right? I see it all the time here on LinkedIn..."recruiters are just in it for the money," and "a recruiter's job is so easy." To some degree, aren't we all "in it for the money?" Don't we all need to make a living to put food on our table and keep our lights on? So I guess you could say that I am somewhat in it for the money. But that's not what motivates me. What motivates me is that I get to work with phenomenal clients and candidates alike, helping them make sustainable long-term matches. And you know what's most gratifying? Checking in months or years later and knowing that it's been a great fit and that everyone is happy. But sure, the money helps. Because after all, I need to feed my kiddos and my three cats :) And let me tell you – our job is not easy. It's by far the hardest (and most gratifying) job I've ever had. Thanks for listening.
