What is stopping you from hiring the best technical talent for your IT transformation? When clients turn to Talent Locker for support it is often because their internal team or current suppliers are struggling to find the right person for the role. Why is this? 1. The hiring team does not fully understand the role requirements 🤔 If you do not work in IT or have an understanding of the systems used, it can be difficult to know whether a candidate has the knowledge and skills to successfully work the role. When recruiting for technical IT roles a specialist agency is the best screening tool you can use for qualifying talent. We are experts in the market and know the red and green flags to watch out for. 2. There is 'no talent available' 🕵️ ... There is always talent available. You just need to know where to look. Again, specialist recruiters have extensive networks of qualified talent to connect you with, as well as access to all the top job boards, LinkedIn Recruiter, etc etc etc. If you are finding the right people but aren't getting the response you want (or any response at all) take a look at your messaging and the language in your job ads, as you may not be promoting your company or role in the best way. 3. Lack of market research 💡 And finally - are your salary and benefits ACTUALLY competitive? Doing your homework on market salaries and benefits can save you and the candidates you're speaking to a lot of time.
