Where everyone sees just photovoltaic modules, we see an opportunity. A chance to change the way we produce and consume energy; to be more sustainable; to bet on a future asset. At Gransolar we are so familiar with solar energy that we can almost see the electricity generated ⚡ coming out of the panels directly to our homes, offices, manufacturing centers and anywhere we need green energy 🌱 for a better world.

European Parliament agrees on the EU Solar Standard 🔆 We're thrilled to learn about the recent adoption of the EU Solar Standard, a significant leap forward in sustainable energy practices. At Ennogie, we're proud to be at the forefront of this movement, driving the transition to cleaner, renewable energy sources. 🏡 One of the key aspects of the EU Solar Standard is the integration of Building-Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV), which seamlessly merges solar technology with architectural design. This means that solar panels are not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing, enhancing the visual appeal of buildings while harnessing the power of the sun. 🌍 With climate change posing a pressing threat, initiatives like the EU Solar Standard are crucial for reducing carbon emissions and mitigating environmental impact. By adhering to these standards, we're not just meeting regulatory requirements; we're actively contributing to a more sustainable future for generations to come. 🔍 Want to learn more about how Ennogie is leveraging BIPV technology to promote solar adoption and sustainability? In recent days, we have launched a modern photovoltaic installation⚡️, which is a significant step towards the production of energy from renewable sources ☀️. A photovoltaic installation is an innovative solution that uses solar energy to produce electricity 💡, thus eliminating the emission of harmful greenhouse gases. By launching a photovoltaic installation, we engage in the development of environmentally friendly technologies 🌱 and in aspiration to reduce our carbon footprint. Electricity ⚡️ produced from solar energy is used to power machines, devices and installations used in the company's operations. Renewable energy ☀️ reduces our dependence on electricity from the grid and limits the consumption of energy from traditional sources 🏭 that are harmful to the environment. The benefits of a photovoltaic installation are multidimensional. In addition to reducing carbon dioxide emissions🌱, the company will have the opportunity to reduce energy costs📉, which has significant factor in its long-term business strategy. Additionally, investing in energy produced in an environmentally friendly way ☀️ can attract the attention of customers and business partners who increasingly value companies that care about the environment and our Planet🌍. We try to reduce the negative aspects affecting climate change 🌡️ on the globe in small steps. This is our next action, the implementation of which coincides with International Earth Day🌍. #finowpolska #photovoltaicinstallation #pvinstalation #renewableenergy #InternationalEarthDay

☀💡 GFA TAKES STRIDES TOWARDS SUSTAINABILITY WITH NEW SOLAR INSTALLATIONS 💡 ☀ ☀ In a significant move towards sustainability, GFA has recently enhanced its environmental commitment by installing 74 photovoltaic modules on the main building at its Hamburg headquarters. The installation, completed in October, comprises 18 modules on the west-facing pitched roof and 56 modules mounted on the flat roof. ☀ With a total capacity of nearly 30 kWp (kilowatt-peak), referring how much power the panels can deliver under optimal conditions, the photovoltaic system is expected to generate approximately 28,000 kWh of electricity annually, depending on the duration of sunlight throughout the year. This initiative aligns with GFA's dedication to adopting eco-friendly practices and reducing its carbon footprint and would save up to 490 tons CO₂ per year. ☀ In addition to the solar installation, it is worth noting that one of GFA's buildings is exclusively powered by geothermal heat, contributing further to the company's commitment to sustainable energy solutions. The rest of the energy consumed across GFA facilities is sourced from an eco-friendly supplier with renewable-energy options where possible. We know that our colleagues at Engelhartszell are always full of energy. However, now their energy supply has taken on a completely new dimension. The reason for that is that the roofs of the plant have been fitted with 592 photovoltaic panels over the past few months. They now cover almost 1,200 sqm and offer a maximum output of 240 kW. Thus, we are able to generate about 330,000 kWh per year, which is one third of the electricity our Austrian team needs annually. Surplus energy – collected during the weekend, for example – is fed into the grid and sold to energy suppliers. Another environment-friendly asset of our plant is that it has been running on 100% green energy for many years. A big thank you for this amazing initiative goes to project leaders Kurt Seidl and Alexander Marek and their teams. Their great effort helps us further increase the use of renewable energies in production, which has already reached 89% worldwide so far.
