In one of my recent DS interviews with a product-based company, I was asked this question, which I say wasn't difficult, but I found it a little tricky and interesting. Do give it a try, in case you feel like solving. (PS: just posting it from my perspective; it might be a cakewalk for few folks here on LinkedIn 🙂 .) Question: Let's say there are 5 teams in the IPL: Chennai, Gujarat, Lucknow, Delhi, and Mumbai. 1. Now each team has to compete against all the other opposing teams. 2. We need to have 2 columns in output: First_Team, Competing_Team 3. Output should have a unique combination, i.e., matches between Chennai-Mumbai and Mumbai-Chennai should be treated as the same, so only one of them should be given in output. I suggested this as the solution; in case you have any other solution in mind, please feel free to drop a solution in the comment section. Mood change moments in Life, It was a humid day in Mumbai, first week of May 2019, I was a having a bad day in office, my customer call went very bad, so many actions points were put up by customer, need to close all actions before the next call/targets dates, as you know #Customersatisfaction is a key goal in our process, Already it was 8PM in office, Friday evening, still discussing & making the closing points before the weekend fever hits me & my team, I already got 2-3 phone calls from my wife who is in Pune, just waiting for me to return, all these made me little restless & uneasy, Suddenly one of my team member walked in to my cabin & offered me a snack box, I was feeling hungry, also Davender & Ashish who were with me to fix the actions pending #ppts & #Ghantt Charts, I opened the box, it was Jack fruit pods neatly de-seeded, golden yellow, with honey smell, in fraction I went back to my child hood memories, we enjoyed a lot, thanked Sandeep who actually hails from Kokan side of Maharashtra specially brought this for us, My question to all #peoplemanager here is are you accessible for your teammates, are they discussing with you the blocks? you do the tasks along with team or delegate to the keypersons & do follow up later even if it is important, what is your management style, please revert with your comments, #cgm7
