We thank President Biden for his historic acknowledgment of #cannabis policy reform in his speech tonight. Cannabis is for well-being, and it's time for change! 👏 👏 👏
I don't trust a thing that he says because he had the power from day one to completely deschedule cannabis unilaterally. he just had to write an executive order directing the head of the DEA to remove cannabis from the schedule. it doesn't require anything more than that on his part. he could have done it 5 minutes after he took office. so he obviously knows that he is in dire straits and if he had done this a year ago and gotten cannabis taken off the schedule he would have sailed through this election season with no problems. now he has a hard decision to make. rescheduling will not be enough. he has to get it removed from the schedule at the federal level completely

My silent excitement for the 1st April!
The potential decriminalization of cannabis in Germany from 1st April is an upcoming event that fills me with a sense of unvoiced, overwhelming excitement. This silent anticipation results from my long-standing observation of the journey towards decriminalization in the country where I reside.
While this may seem peculiar to those outside the industry or without a shared passion for cannabis, it's an extraordinary turning point for someone like me who has been a cannabis enthusiast and consumer for most of their life. To them, life continues as usual, as if nothing is about to change. However, for me, the potential change on 1st April signifies a momentous occasion.
This doesn't stem from the prospect of consuming cannabis freely, as I've been able to do so as a patient for quite some time. Rather, it's about finally having the reassurance that I've done nothing wrong, that I no longer need to live in fear of someone adding stress to my life by condemning my actions.
The possibility of decriminalization on 1st April means an end to the struggles, the secrecy, and the unjust feeling of being a criminal. It's a massive step forward, and I can't help but feel a silent thrill at the thought of this turning point.

🚨 BREAKING: "Today is historic! Cannabis is moving to schedule III. We applaud the President and his administration for making federal #cannabis reform a priority.” - Trulieve CEO, Founder, and Chairman Kim Rivers
The Schedule 1 status of #cannabis is the greatest leverage the #cannabisindustry has to ever get it removed from the CSA.
If it moves to somewhere else on the schedule, I believe it will extend the fight to end federal prohibition beyond 2040 because it will not be as politically potent.
Mark my words.
No joke! What exactly has the DEA done to warrant such a price-tag? The Shafer Commission (1972), many of whom were handpicked by Richard Nixon, suggested that Cannabis be decriminalized; yet here we are 50 years later….thanks DEA! (That was sarcasm in case you missed it 🤣)
