📣 UPDATE: According to news reports today, the DEA will move to reclassify cannabis from Schedule I to Schedule III. For over 50 years, cannabis has been wrongfully placed in the same class as drugs that are seen as having no medical utility. Schedule III opens the door to scientific research to validate and further identify all the medicinal benefits of the plant. While there is still more work to be done to advance cannabis freedoms, this is a huge step forward in support of well-being through the power of cannabis🌱👏👏👏

Flowers should still not be more than 200 an oz. I’m a med patient in va and can barley afford it. Close to 500 an oz is crazy.

I still do not believe this going to happen. The DEA does not have the power reschedule any drug, the FDA makes the recommendation to the President and he can reschedule it. Remeber the is a lot of fake AI stories floating around.

This is a great first step in the right direction. Let's hope we don't have to wait years to see this come to fruition. Cannabis really shouldn't be scheduled at all. We need to push for regulation only. If alcohol isn't on the list of scheduled drugs, neither should cannabis.

This is fantastic news! The DEA's decision to reclassify cannabis from Schedule I to Schedule III is a monumental step forward. This change acknowledges the medicinal potential of cannabis and paves the way for much-needed scientific research. While there is still more work to be done, this progress brings us closer to fully understanding and utilizing the benefits of this remarkable plant. 🌱👏
