This is fantastic, Harris Computer! It’s great to see a company that prioritizes respect and authenticity in the workplace. I look forward to exploring the opportunities and hearing more about the experiences of current employees.
We all spend a significant chunk of our lives at work.
Whether you're an executive, manager, or individual contributor, a positive and thriving culture can make all the difference.
It's not a perk; it's essential.
Imagine a workplace built on kindness, respect, and trust – where everyone feels valued and has the chance to develop their skills.
This is the dream, and it's achievable!
Let's work together to create a work environment that fosters:
🟣 Where everyone has the chance to learn and develop.
🟣 Where ideas are heard and valued, regardless of title.

Numerous studies indicate employees long for greater respect, inclusion, and meaning at work. One way to address these needs is to pay attention to how we show up at work. No matter what your role in your organization is, you have an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those you work with. Don't let efficiency get in the way of civility.
I'm currently reading "Connect First" by Dr. Melanie Katzman. Here are 5 simple ways you can increase respect, inclusion, and meaning at work today.
1. Smile when you greet others. It activates the reward center in your brain, reducing stress for yourself and others.
2. Start your request with "please" even when what you are asking is part of someone's job responsibilities.
3. Say "thank you". Be genuine and specific about why you appreciate someone. It doesn't have to be task-oriented. You might express appreciation for someone's positive attitude or for how they encouraged you.
4. Learn the names of those you work with and address people by their name. If you've forgotten it, apologize and ask to be reminded.
5. Make time for team members to express appreciation and praise for one another's efforts. It takes 5 positive comments to counter each negative comment.

Sometimes obvious things are so obvious that we stop noticing them. On some workplaces it happens with roles - when people start to interfere with each other's roles it probably will end up badly.
I suppose that not many people would like it if others will start to teach them how to do their job. Advices - ok
Recommendations - sure.
But not teaching. Even advice and recommendations are good only if not frequent.
Otherwise we have a great chance to get a toxic atmosphere and hinder overall progress.
1️⃣ Specialization and getting stuff done
We all have different skills and strengths. That's why we get hired for our specific roles. When you stick to what you're good at, you're more likely to get things done efficiently and with quality.
2️⃣ Keeping the team happy
Think of your team as a well-oiled machine. When everyone does their part without stepping on each other's toes, it creates a smoother, happier work environment. Trust me, a harmonious team is a productive team.
3️⃣ Knowing who's responsible
Clear roles mean clear responsibilities. When you mess with someone else's job, it becomes a confusing mess, and no one knows who's accountable for what. That's a recipe for disaster.
4️⃣ Celebrating diverse skills
We're all different, and that's a good thing! Organizations thrive when they embrace and value the unique skills and talents of their employees. Sticking to your role shows respect for what makes each person special.
When we all respect our roles, we're paving the way for a more harmonious, efficient, and successful workplace 👨💻
We're at an inflection point regarding the future of work and the people who do it. To become a great place to work in 2024(and beyond), organizations must make people central to any decision they make by reaffirming their commitment to their employees and the community they serve. But they will have to do more than just offer vague promises and carefully crafted corporate statements - they must walk the talk and enact real change.
A Reflection on the Inclusive Workplace…
***** Valued. Involved. Respected. *****
As leaders, do we work to ensure our employees are *and* feel included? If so, through what methods? If not, why not?
How human resources are stewarded reflects the character of a person with authority and demonstrates an organization’s level of moral and ethical integrity.
In what ways do you foster workplace belongingness for those in your span of care? Inquiring minds want to know. 😊
In an inclusive work culture, employees know they’re an integral part of the organization, and believe that differences in backgrounds, social identities, and life experiences are a strength, not a weakness. https://bit.ly/3UIwHF2
No matter where I go there is a need to feel valued and included and this feeling is no different in the workplace. Yes, we are unique and we have our own perceptions but today please remember that so does our other colleagues. Try to understand someone’s perspective during conversations as their views may be the final ingredient to facilitate growth and development. It also builds trust and opens the channel for individuals to share ideas openly and this supports an inclusive work environment. #inspireinclusion

TEAM is committed to bringing our Values to life. These are more than just words posted on our website - our Values guide our behaviors and actions everyday and influence how we carry out our job roles to the maximum benefit of our community and further TEAM’s mission.
Through the month of June, we are focusing on ▶️Accountability◀️. Our Family Support Specialists and Community Health Workers reflected on what Accountability means for them in their day-to-day responsibilities, and crafted Accountability statements as commitments and reminders to this core TEAM value.
A couple of these statements read…
“I will hold myself accountable by committing to setting clear and achievable goals, organizing and prioritizing tasks effectively, and communicating transparently with my team and supervisors. I will seek and act on feedback, take ownership of my actions and decisions, and manage my time efficiently to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work.”
“I will hold myself accountable by not seeing others in a judgmental manner, but rather viewing their challenges/ successes as opportunities for growth and learning. This will be done by exemplifying TEAM’s values in my work and relationships within TEAM’s structure.”
Talk about an exceptional team! 🌟Kudos🌟 to our staff and their daily commitment to exemplifying TEAM’s values.
Finding a great job with an inclusive culture can be a challenge. Hear from my colleague Jorge as he shares a few tips for developing your career and being your authentic self at work: https://spr.ly/6044uplDO
In our careers, we often focus on developing our individual skills and knowledge to excel. But one of the most important qualities in any work environment is simply being a good teammate and person.
When we work alongside others, there will inevitably be differences in aptitudes and abilities. Some teammates may be highly skilled in certain areas while still developing in others. But what matters most is one's character, attitude and effort.
It's a joy to collaborate with colleagues who bring positivity, respect, and a strong work ethic each day, even if they're not the most experienced or knowledgeable (yet). Their integrity and drive to learn make them valuable partners. And by appreciating and encouraging them, we create an uplifting team culture that brings out the best in everyone.
Ultimately, being a good person - one who treats others with kindness, recognizes everyone's humanity, and focuses on collective goals over ego - is a powerful professional asset. Those are the teammates we remember fondly and who make work genuinely fulfilling.
So as we strive to enhance our own capabilities, let's remember to prize and embody the fundamentals of being a good colleague and human being. Respect all, stay humble, celebrate others' successes, and lead with empathy and decency. If we each commit to that, we'll build teams and companies that truly thrive.
