Do you have a voice at the table or just a seat?
Titles are nice, but they don't make you a leader.
Leadership skills are great, but without authority, you might never get to display them.
My executive clients have titles that say "she's the boss": Sr. Dr, VP, SVP, CMO, CHRO, CGO, CFO...
They've reached their rank because they have the skills to lead beautifully.
But that doesn't mean they always get to.
Sometimes, your reputation and your actions strip you of the authority you need to lead powerfully.
When that happens, your title means NOTHING- you're stuck.
One of my clients was named global director of sales for a growing start-up.
She inherited the most profitable markets and the most challenging team.
But her "nice girl" reputation got in the way of her ability to lead powerfully.
Her team liked her well enough, but they didn't respect her authority.
Her CEO hired Noteworthy to help her step into her authority, leverage her top value, and support their growing success.
Using our Executive Rising methodology she...
☀️ Developed the confidence to lead assertively
☀️ Stopped focusing on being liked by picking up their slack and taking on the work they didn't want to do.
☀️ Earned the respect of her team by empowering their autonomy, decision-making, and skill-building.
☀️ And to her surprise, they loved her more for it!
We shored up her confidence, defined the right leadership strategy, and provided her with expert support from both an executive coach (me) and a peer group of fellow senior leading Noteworthy women!
The shift was tremendous:
-- She got (way) less pushback - and less stress-
-- Her team ramped up productivity and performance - bigger bonuses
-- Her work had a broader impact for the company - no more imposter syndrome
