Last week we visited DroneX and AAM expo at ExCeL London to hear more about the range of use cases being considered across industries, ranging from medical to maritime, and to see some of the novel technologies currently being applied.
The event explored the benefits of future air mobility operations to our society, but also highlighted that there are still a few more barriers to overcome before these benefits can be fully unlocked.
As the industry grows, there are key challenges surrounding the integration of all these new types of air traffic, in a way which is both seamless and safe. The industry must work together to provide system, safety and data assurance and gather the correct evidence to provide confidence to the regulator, investors and the general public. This is not something that any one stakeholder can solve alone, and in order to make progress, the industry must collaborate.
Here at Think, we look forward to our part in this journey.
