4. 🧵 My Role as the User Engagement Lead was the most out-facing Role as it required me to: 1. Be at the forefront of understanding user pain points using user-friendly surveys and quizzes to understand user behaviour. Respond to the challenges and difficulties users may have with using the product while ensuring this is fixed in a timely yet customer-friendly way, both from the clinical and product development end. 2. Through #AkomaCircles and much more, I was tasked with creating and executing campaign strategies that key closely with the company vision, such as a. The Impact of “Japa”(Leaving one home country for better economic opportunities in another country) on Mental well-being, b. Financial Well-being, c. Overcoming Work-related Stress and Burnout, d. Mums Matter Too, e. International Men's Day, f. Living with a Chronic Condition and the Impact on Mental Health, g. Sex, Modern Relationships and the Impact on Mental Health etc. I am forever grateful that the following thought leaders and organisations indulged me. This is an exhaustive list, kindly pardon me: Olu of Canada, CareerBuddy Lagos to London Podcast, The Star Network Podcast, Maryam Adebola-Salami Eyowo Thrive Financial, Inc Morenike Olusanya, Koromone AY, Feyi Macaulay, Theodora Olumekor, Rehabify Chiamaka Amaku, Feyikoya Kamson, Tife Soloye and many more!. "Aminah from Akoma Health" is grateful to you all! I would also like to thank the fantastic marketing team I worked with, Tomi, Sanasi Amos, Fola and Victor Alumona, for bringing all these campaigns to fruition. My greatest lesson is that collaboration is vital for growth and ensures the other party has something to benefit from each collaboration. The importance of follow-ups cannot be over-emphasised. Finally, Always set the objectives and monitor metrics before and after a campaign.
Hello all 👋 1. I'm happy to announce that my incredible time at Akoma Health ended a few weeks ago. Over the next few days, I'll highlight my fantastic work as the Clinical Operations, Partnership and User Engagement Lead. This particular Role challenged me in several ways as I had just transitioned from a core care-related role, so I'll share some of my achievements and learnings. 🧵

Motivational Speaker, Olympic Gold, Silver and Bronze medallist, 4 times Olympian, Commercial Pilot mattlangridge.co.uk
It was a real pleasure to share my insight into the importance of seeking feedback for personal growth and self improvement with the team at Spire Healthcare Group plc. Throughout my time as an athlete and now as I commercial pilot, I have used constructive criticism as a vital tool to help me achieve my goals, and to keep me focussed on the areas that are within my control. #highperformance #teams #leadership #teambuilding #teamwork #communication #motivationalspeaking

Have you always been so curious? I was asked this today in a 1:1 mentoring session I was having with an MSL this afternoon, she is looking for her pathways to find better insights from HCP interactions. "YES! .....for as long as I can remember" I said and shared a story from my childhood which probably captures me TOO well! This is my class picture taken in Glasgow, Scotland and I think I was around 7 or 8. This day was the first (but not last) time I got "the strap" (swatted over my hands by a leather tawse for "bad behaviour" - back when corporal punishment was a thing in school) for constantly asking WHY! Now, granted, I had asked 4 or 5 times, but the answer the teacher was giving me just didn't seem to be the whole picture! So....I continued to probe by asking her to say more and explain at a deeper level. I think her patience just ran thin - but I remember that by the end I had my answer and I felt a sense of achievement. I have always been this kid....really looking to get beneath the surface of what I heard and in my years in Field roles I think it served me well as getting to the root of what was driving my customers decisions allowed me to provide more VALUE. As an MSL, how often do you take the time to REALLY probe the answers you hear from your HCPs? we can ask "why" in many ways: * "can you tell me more about that?" * "Is there a reason why this happens?" * "can you expand or help me understand more?" There's a myriad of these questions - but too often we are hesitant to probe our experts. Let's change that and get down through the layers of "why" to find those magical things we REALLY want to know 😀 That's where true insight begins! Potential prizes for those who can pick me out of this rogues gallery!! #mslinsights #probingquestions #mslexcellence

Here is this week's edition of your MUST KNOW connections to grow your network personally and professionally. First up is Brett Braafhart with NCMIC. Ever since we grabbed coffee now I can't stop seeing this guy out and about. I won't complain about it but Brett is a top notch individual in the credit card processing space and I love the work he does to support the community above and beyond just work. Hopefully our paths will continue to cross and we can continue to strive to solve the world's problems one coffee and/or bourbon at a time. Next is Cole Horton, MBA, SHRM-SCP with OneroRx A fellow Drake University alumni we pretty much share a birthday and run in a lot of the same groups. For most talking things healthcare and human resources aren't fun, but I find them fascinating. Cole is a huge asset to the DSM community and I fully expect him to help shape DSM for decades to come. We are lucky to have someone as talented as him to stay in DSM. Last, but definitely not least, is Jordan Hildreth with Tire Heroes years of being connected and running in the same marketing and advertising circles but it took us until this week to officially link up for a couple of beers. I do enjoy a good conversation about branding, marketing strategy, LinkedIn and business development. Love watching Jordan build strategy with Tire Heroes and seeing it continue to grow. Look forward to many more conversations as we work to make DSM a great place to live, work and play. I'll say it again: MAKE SURE TO MAKE EFFORTS TO MEET YOUR #LINKEDIN CONNECTIONS. They are so beneficial to life and business. Connect with these people. Get to know these people. Promote these people. Together we can change the world. #promotepeoplenotproducts #dsmusa #reppdesmoines #networking #jacobfromlinkedin #businessdevelopment #youngprofessionals

💫🌟 Celebrating 6 months Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine! I must say, it has been a truly transformational professional experience joining ‘the Sponsor side’. Prior to joining J&J, I was navigating change during uncertain times. I was very fortunate to have found the right role at the right time. As this year comes to an end, I’ve embraced key reflections: 1️⃣ Understanding my audience is paramount. As the bridge between sites and the Sponsor, effective communication tailored to diverse needs is crucial. I’ve learned the power of concise and clear communication, both written and verbal, in obtaining the needed information in a timely fashion. 2️⃣ Building relationships is the linchpin at J&J. This has been an integral piece to taking ownership of my role, especially when you rely on the nuances of relationships with external stakeholders to determine when it’s best to lead, educate, support, advise, or simply just encourage. Internally, strategic connections with mentors and management have empowered me to take an aggressive approach in completing trainings, securing observations with senior trainers, and understanding the organizational and functional expectations for my role. 3️⃣ Completing trainings was just the beginning. When it came down to getting my own protocols and sites, it was daunting thinking how to best put it all together. Protocols are rapidly changing and there is so much activity across multiple study sties, and so no two days are the same. Luckily, I have been overwhelmed with support from mentors who have shared their best practices and tools, which makes me very excited to develop my own style and approach in 2024. Here’s to continuous growth and embracing the exciting journey ahead! 🚀 #ProfessionalJourney #TransformativeExperience #CareerGrowth #ReflectAndCelebrate
