Here is what I'm noticing. Israelis are not well educated if taught in Israel. Have you ever wondered why people pick up their colonizer roots after they've gotten their foreign education? (Netanyahoo in Philly, whut?) Well, when you spend so much classroom time teaching hateful ways (and it takes a lot of time), you don't teach things like: Spelling. Grammar. Reason. Basic logic. The whole idea of epistemology is thrown away, except if Israel validated something, it's not true. They have effectively beaten logic and reason to its own death. They look educated. They have degrees. But they cannot conjugate a verb. Now, what are we going to do when it comes time to reintegrate these timebombs into the free world? It's like healing from a cult. Advice for managing voluntary cult members who won't give up their destructive ways? #IsraelIsACult #ZionismIsACult

Ahsan ul Kalam, the Digital Pen Quran, is a modern tool for teaching the Quran to children. It includes the Quranic text, audio recitation, translations, and tajweed rules and its different additional features, making it an interactive and educational resource. It's valuable for teaching both Quranic recitation and moral and religious lessons to children. However, it should be used alongside traditional methods and guidance from qualified teachers. #AhsanulKalam #DigitalPenQuran #Additionalfeatures #QuranicEducation #IslamicLearning #InteractiveLearning #ReligiousEducation #TraditionalTeaching #Tajweed #MoralLessons #moderntools

I'm thrilled to share my latest research publication, "The New General Self-Efficacy Scale: A Matter of Language." This study dives into the fascinating interplay between language and self-efficacy among Arabic-English bilingual female students in Saudi Arabia. 🔍 **Abstract Highlights:** - We investigated whether the language of presentation affects responses to the General Self-Efficacy (GSE) scale. - Our focus was on emotional reactions influenced by cultural norms around modesty in attitudes and behaviors. - Female students in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia completed the New General Self-Efficacy (NGSE) scale in both English and Arabic. - Findings revealed that the English version of the NGSE scale produced higher scores compared to the Arabic version. - Emotional responses varied with language: positive emotions were linked to higher NGSE scores in English, whereas the opposite was true for Arabic. - The study suggests that Arabic may evoke cultural codes of modesty, impacting the self-focused approach of the NGSE scale. This research underscores the importance of considering cultural and linguistic contexts when assessing self-efficacy. I invite you to read the full study and explore how language shapes our perceptions of self-efficacy. 👉 https://lnkd.in/dT6JcapX #Research #SelfEfficacy #Bilingualism #CulturalStudies #Psychology #SaudiArabia #AcademicResearch #Publication

Leadership Strategist 🇺🇸🌎🇮🇱 Fortune 200 & Non-Profit Transformation International Relations & Communications
🇺🇸🇮🇱 Have you taught your Jewish kids Arabic yet? de Toledo High School in Los Angeles did, and I learned Arabic in my early years for 2 reasons: 1. Arabic is the Native Language of my Iraqi-Israeli father Shaul who was forcibly expelled from Baghdad at age 6 for being Jewish, and... 2. Real sustainable progress is built between people (and less through politics) My high school Arabic teacher (fellow blonde American) Lisa Ansell speaks more languages than I can list. Today she serves as University of Southern California 's Dean of Hebrew Studies and leads the university's efforts to combat anti-Semitism (Go Trojans!). Our schools are meant to arm students with the skills they need to design the world we wish to see, in safe & secure settings. Historically, we've left it up to our educators to predict the future, and we're seeing how that plays out today across so many college campuses and public school systems (at least, in America). In this new era we're ushering in, A.I will change everything. It will be less about mastering some of the outdated 'hard skills' and more emphasis on 'soft skills', emotional intelligence and strategic design. Communication and self-awareness. The tools needed to be better human beings so that we can master our technology and create a better world based on our shared beliefs and appreciation for cultural differences. But I'm wondering what ARE our common values? Will we allow politicians & current leadership to guide us & divide us? Or will we begin to reflect more deeply on our own family values and start by instilling those ourselves first, in our own homes? Lead by example, mess up, and then try again? I can still read & write Arabic, but I haven't spoken much in recent years. Here's hoping that those of us who actually seek progress will succeed in building bridges with our global counterparts who share the same vision. And that, as the wise adults in the room, we take responsibility to arm the next generation with what they need to succeed in a future we can just barely comprehend ourselves. 🙏

A start of convergence! Unfortunately, it is not only knowledge that counts, people need to non-violently interact with each other in order to develop empathy. From there mutual understanding can be achieved. Only this path leads to the replacement of fear and hatred by trust and solidarity. The end result is sustainable peace and friendship; solving conflicts forever. www.convergence.ngo & www.pax.ngo
