Accounting driven Tax roles in industry - 𝘆𝗲𝘀 they do exist! As a Tax Professional, you may have always had a grá (or passion) for numbers. You may have excelled in your accounting studies throughout school and college, and you decided to choose a career in tax to diversify your profile. 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝗼 𝗜 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗮𝘅 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲𝘀? Generally these roles will sit in a) a Shared Service Centre or b) a multinational business who have their EMEA or overall HQ in Ireland. It is a niche area within tax so these roles aren't plentiful on the market. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗷𝗼𝗯 𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗜 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿? A job title is always going to be reflective of the internal structure of a business so it's probably not the best filter to use. Read down through each job description that may be of interest and it would be best to flag your interest with a recruiter.
