Today, we came together to honor the emancipation of enslaved African Americans, marking a pivotal moment in our history. It's a day filled with both celebration of resilience and recognition of the challenges overcome. Throughout the day, we celebrated the remarkable growth and contributions of the African American community to our society— from arts and culture to science, business, and beyond. We acknowledged the strides made towards equality and justice, yet we are reminded that our work is far from complete.
