When hair follicles become clogged with oil and dead skin cells, they cause acne. The sebaceous glands in our skin produce sebum, an oil that helps to keep our skin moisturized and healthy. However, when too much sebum is produced, it can mix with dead skin cells and bacteria, leading to inflammation and the formation of acne. Hormones are a major contributor to acne, particularly during puberty, pregnancy, and menopause. Hormonal changes can increase the production of sebum and cause the skin to become more sensitive to acne-causing bacteria. Genetics also play a role in acne, as studies have shown that people with a family history of acne are more likely to develop it themselves. Lifestyle factors such as diet, stress, and skincare routine can also impact the severity of acne. READ MORE:: https://lnkd.in/dB3-8d4y #Bulkpharmaexporter #pharmasupplier

Acne in Adult Women Acne vulgaris often persists into adulthood, disproportionately affecting women. While the prevalence decreases with age, many women suffer from acne into their 20s, 30s, and beyond. The pathophysiology is similar to adolescent acne, involving follicular plugging, increased sebum production, Cutibacterium acnes, and inflammation. However, hormonal factors like androgens and the menstrual cycle may play a greater role. Evaluation for hyperandrogenism is recommended if signs/symptoms are present. Treatment is similar to other acne patients, using topical retinoids, antimicrobials, and hormonal therapies. Gentle skin care and makeup choices are also advised. Acne can persist for years but often improves over time. Pregnancy's effects are variable. Addressing sequelae like scarring and hyperpigmentation is important. With a customized treatment plan, significant improvement is often achievable. #acne #adultacne #womenshealth #skincare #hormones #drariamoradkhani #dermexpertise #acnevulgaris #postadolescentacne #acnetreatment https://bit.ly/452vmLU

Recently I had a conversation with a skin consultant and I asked her what triggers acne in women and she said a lot of things. Before now I only knew about the menstrual cycle and stress bringing out pimples. The pimples on my forehead are the first signs I notice when my period is about to start, and maybe when I have outworked myself and I start getting stress pimples on my face. During my conversation with the consultant, she spoke about other triggers and I would like to share them with you. 1️⃣ Hormone changes during puberty: During puberty, girls have an increase in male sex hormones called androgens. This increase causes the glands to get larger and make more sebum. 2️⃣ Hormone changes as an adult: The menstrual cycle is one of the most common acne triggers. Acne lesions tend to form a few days before the cycle begins and go away after the cycle is completed. Other hormone changes, such as pregnancy and menopause, improve acne in some women. Although some women have worse acne during these times. Stopping the use of birth control pills can play a role as well. 3️⃣ Medicine: Certain medicines, such as those used to treat epilepsy and types of depression. 4️⃣ Make-up. 5️⃣ Pressure or friction on the skin: Friction caused by bike helmets or backpacks can make acne worse. 6️⃣ Family history: If other people in your family have acne, there is a greater chance you will have it. When it comes to triggers for acne in women, it's important to remember that everyone's skin is unique and that different things can be the cause of your acne from what's happening to your friend. You should also know that what works for Esther won't be the same product for you. Hope you enjoy the rest of your day❤️

The Role of Azelaic Acid: It is often used for ordinary acne, rose acne, and peripheral dermatitis. It has certain effects on pigmentation (such as acne marks) and melasma after inflammation, and can also be used for seborrheic dermatitis with rose acne. It can also be used for the treatment of rose acne, and there is a place in the treatment of acute pimples and maintaining a stable period. As a non-antibiotic local topical treatment of acne drugs, it can be used for a long time without producing drug resistance, and it is a category B drug during pregnancy, which is relatively safe. It tolerates good tolerance, but some patients will have stimulus reactions after use, such as erythema, burning, desquamation, and itching, most of which are temporary.#azelaicacid #functionalingredients #gaoyuanbio https://lnkd.in/d3haSxdB

🌟 Let's talk about Roaccutane! 🌟 Roaccutane, also known as isotretinoin, is a powerful medication often prescribed for severe acne. It's a game-changer for many struggling with persistent acne concerns. 💊✨ Here are a few things to know: 1️⃣ Roaccutane works by reducing the size of the oil glands in the skin, decreasing oil production, and preventing acne-causing bacteria. 2️⃣ It's typically prescribed when other treatments haven't been effective, especially for severe cases of acne that can cause scarring. 3️⃣ While it can be incredibly effective, Roaccutane does come with potential side effects, including dry skin, lips, and eyes, as well as mood changes and possible birth defects if taken during pregnancy. 4️⃣ Regular check-ins with a dermatologist are crucial throughout the treatment process to monitor progress and manage any side effects. If you're considering Roaccutane, make sure to have a thorough discussion with your dermatologist to weigh the benefits and potential risks.
