Every once in a while you come across a colleague that just simply "gets you." that's the case with my new friend Bob Gentle. We connected when I heard him speak about the power of personal brand and pointed out that we frequently narrow our messaging to only one niche. it occurred to me that while I have given countless interviews about my journey to realize my nonprofit, Wagtown, mission for authentic, responsible, and sustainable dog friendliness, I had gone down a rabbit hole for specific niche slivers and missed the importance of overall messaging for the boys of dogs.
Enter Bob to the rescue. I pitched him myself as a guest and he graciously welcomed me to the microphone. As with any "performance," our conversation helped me immensely. It allowed me to take some headspace to evaluate how far I come and the challenges ahead.
If you are familiar with my work or just seeing this for the first time, I encourage you to have a lesson. I would love to increase awareness and inspire others to take on the mantle of their personal brand champions. I am lucky. I get to champion pooches. #UnfairAdvantage
