⭐ Proud to be a father!! ⭐ Early during this week on July 03, 2024, my daughter's views were posted in one of the local news paper - Deccan Chronicle. 📰 My daughter is just 15 years old and has been playing professional Badminton since past 4 years. 🏸 The article posted is about her journey of 4 years and that how she was able to devote time for both Badminton and studies and excel in both the areas. 📖 She recently appeared for her 10th standard board exams and secured 98% and stood 6th in her entire school. 🏅 She has also recently won couple of professional Badminton tournaments as well. 🏆 Things were not that rosy over the past few months as she had to take a break from playing Badminton for almost 6-8 months to prepare for her board exams which was very difficult for her and also suffered from breakdowns as well. Thanks to my wife, she enabled her to restart playing professional Badminton again now that she was done with her board exams and also secured great results which has got her super excited. 💡 Things that I learnt from my daughter as a proud parent: 1. How to effectively perform muti-tasking and achieve best results 2. How to efficiently plan your day for school, tuitions, Badminton coaching and playing professional tournaments 3. How to manage and come out of difficult situations 4. How not to lose hope even when the chips are down 5. How to manage multiple expectations 6. How to set your goals and achieve them with perseverance 7. How to be a better version of your own self with each passing day 8. How staying connected with or playing at least one sport enables our mind to stay fresh and also helps in increasing our focus on other important areas 9. How as parents we have to play an effective role of bringing the kids out of the difficult times like that of handling peer pressure, managing pressure of studies, pressure of own expectations of winning professional tournaments, etc. 10. Be their best friends so they can openly reach out to you and discuss things that they normally won't be comfortable discussing with their parents 11. Managing the expectations of a teenage child and be their punching bag 12. How to effectively imbibe discipline even while not hurting their self esteem and ego 13. How to be their support as and when they need by giving them the priority they deserve ✨ She will now be stepping on to a new phase in her life with the end of her stint at school and start of her new stint at college. 🌲 I wish her all the very best in all her endeavors and would seek your blessings as well. 👍 💡 I would also like to seek your views based on your experience that we should adopt or should avoid as part of our parenting process. 👨👨👧👧 News Article - Published in "Deccan Chronicle" on July 03, 2024. https://lnkd.in/dU9XwjYu

That's amazing! Congratulations to your daughter for her fantastic achievements in both academics and Badminton. Balancing sports and studies is tough, and her success shows how dedicated and hardworking she is. Big kudos to your wife for her support during the difficult times, helping your daughter get back to playing Badminton after her exams. I was fortunate enough to witness first hand how supportive your wife is to you and I can only imagine how lucky your children are to have her. Your daughter's journey is truly inspiring, and it's clear she has a bright future ahead. Your reflections on her multitasking skills are very insightful. Wishing her all the best in everything she does! Her uncle Jamal will be rooting for her all the way from London!
