Hey Hiring Managers👋- How can you tell when someone is a good fit or not? Well, the number one way I answer that question is this: I tend to find people who focus more on what they have accomplished previously than what they can do for your business - for me, they stand out among the rest. In this modern technical world, it's easy to sound bigger and badder than you really are. But you can't fake facts. When people focus on their accomplishments it leaves little room for wonder on what their potential impact on your organization could be. 👉So - what is one tip or trick you have for cutting through the clutter with potential candidates? #hiring #hiringnow #hiringtrends

Hiring (esp for execs) is a high stakes decision on both ends. ✔️ As an individual you are committing to 5 years of your career. As a company you are giving up meaningful control to someone that will shape your culture and growth. 😅 Yet you find so many hiring processes left to “chance” and “instincts” alone. 🤷🏽♀️ Classic misses like everyone on the panel asking the same questions, minimal focus on values alignment and forgetting the human elements of the process 🤦🏽♀️ Examples that give me pause: If you say this role is important to the CEO (who is also the hiring mgr), yet there are 3 calls before you ever talk to him / her 🤔 If this is a high priority role (and you are apparently one of their top candidates), yet it takes 7 days to hear back on next steps 🤔 If you care about your culture/ employees yet ask no questions about my approach to people leadership in our hours together 🤔 Your process has to reflect your truth about the company and the role. 🔑 1️⃣ identify your real must-haves 2️⃣ build a hiring process that reflects them 3️⃣ ask for feedback to tweak A great hiring process and radical transparency will help you find the right hires for your biz! ✌️ #hiring #execsearch #crosearch #recruiting

Don't gamble with your new hires. It’s too important not to get things right. So, what are the risks of hiring the wrong person at the wrong time? 1️⃣ Poor culture fit - rushed decisions lead to higher turnover. 2️⃣ No processes - If nothing is documented, how can they learn? 3️⃣ Ramp-up time - lack of support can hinder a new hire's success. 4️⃣ Team pressure - avoid strained relationships and stress on the team. 5️⃣ Quota pressure - waiting for applicants risks empty pipelines/missed targets. Making the right hire is crucial. But it also has to be at the right time. #sdrhiring #saleshiring #hiring

How to answer "Do you have any questions" at the end of an interview. It's easy to brush off this statement as a mere formality, but in reality, it provides an opportunity to make a lasting impression on your potential employer.
