Infosys Foundation echoes the powerful message delivered by its Founder Chairperson, Mrs Sudha Murty, in the Rajya Sabha, highlighting the importance of women's health and the critical role of preventive measures. Mrs Sudha Murty speaks about how through her work with #InfosysFoundation over the last 30 years, we have been steadfast in our mission to make health care accessible to all - especially for young girls who often neglect their own health. The Foundation through several of its partners including the Adyar Cancer Institute has implemented several cervical cancer screening programs over the years, creating a positive impact in the lives of thousands of young women across the country. Infosys Foundation is committed to raising awareness, advocating for solutions, and making healthcare both #accessible and #affordable for all. Chairperson at Murty Trust

In my first speech at the Rajya Sabha, I shed light on an issue that’s close to my heart. Coming from a family of doctors, I realised that women’s health is very important and often neglected. These learnings have taught me the significance of creating a secure healthcare system for women. Today, cervical cancer is the second leading cause of cancer deaths among women in India. Making the cervical cancer vaccine accessible to women at an early age is the first step to accelerating this change.

It is very important to have health care for everyone. The government should promote it on a large scale so that everyone becomes aware and takes health care services✨✨🙂
