As the famous quote goes, "You have to be willing to be misunderstood if you're going to innovate." The path to progress is paved with disruptive ideas that may be met with skepticism or resistance at first. But history has shown time and time again that the innovators - the ones who dared to think differently - are the ones who have pushed humanity forward. "First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win." * This message goes out to all the innovators, the dreamers, the disruptors, and the trailblazers who have dared to think differently. Really to anyone who has ever tried to bring a new idea to fruition. In the journey of innovation, the road is seldom smooth. You know this better than anyone. Your ideas, at first, might have seemed outlandish or impractical. You've faced skepticism, ridicule, and resistance. But remember, this is often the path of groundbreaking ideas. They unsettle, they challenge, and they ultimately change the status quo. So, to all who are working on something new, something that challenges the conventional wisdom, keep going. Your courage to pursue the untried is not just an act of personal will, but a gift to the world that paves the way for progress. *Although there's some debate regarding the attribution of this quote, its relevance in this context is undeniable. #Innovation #Persistence #ChangeTheWorld #Trailblazers

Never be dissuaded or discouraged from questioning things. It is part of our societal and cultural conditioning in 🇱🇰 to just obey, adhere & follow. This spills over from school to the corporate sphere, and then flows until reaching confluence in our social and personal lives. For us to learn, to grow, to evolve we need to ask questions, no matter how infinitesimal or insignificant they might seem at the time. The greatest movers & shakers of industry, revolutionary and visionary innovators, creators & inventors have asked and continue to ask questions. So next time you have something to clarify, just go for it and ask away. Better a fool for a minute, than a fool for a lifetime. #confucius #foodforthought #questions #innovation #creators

All great inventions start with a simple idea. There is an element of mysticism around innovations and the people who create them. But what we don't often see when we read headlines or see posts on social media is what happened behind the scenes to make it happen. You don't need to be special to come up with a unique idea. The essential ingredients are things we all have inside of us: creativity, determination, and authenticity. The secret is to get out of your own way and give your ideas (and those of others) a chance to flourish. You see, most ideas get killed as soon as they happen. • Someone in a meeting shuts it down and dismisses it. • There just is not time given other priorities. • You simply choose not to act. (this is the one that kills most ideas) So what's sets the greatest innovators apart from everyone else? Hint - it's not all genius. The lion's share of it boils down to courage. Specifically: the courage to be creative; the courage to be authentic; and the courage of your convictions. So this #InternationalIdeasMonth, I encourage everyone to give your best ideas a chance. And also, give other ideas a chance by supporting them and investing in them. PS - always remember. Ideas are easy. Execution is hard. Our ideas will only be as good as the muscle we put behind them. #innovation #leadership #creativity #authenticity

What do you think is the number one killer of businesses? It’s a mindset all too common yet dangerously overlooked: '𝑾𝒆𝒍𝒍, 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕’𝒔 𝒉𝒐𝒘 𝒘𝒆’𝒗𝒆 𝒂𝒍𝒘𝒂𝒚𝒔 𝒅𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒊𝒕.' 😬 Albert Einstein famously said, '𝘐𝘯𝘴𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘪𝘴 𝘥𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘪𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘴.' In the fast-paced world of business, clinging to outdated methods not only stunts growth but can also lead to failure. Are you challenging the status quo and innovating in your space, or are you stuck in the 'that’s how we’ve always done it' trap? Embrace change and drive your businesses forward. Future you will thank you! #Innovation #BusinessGrowth #ChallengeTheStatusQuo #Continuum

I guide companies on how to fix Culture and HR Execution problems, reducing organizational friction, to drive focus on "getting the right things done" for your customers and employees.
"Are you attracted to accidents? Do you stop and stare?" 👀 You will appreciate this mashup of Eisenhower’s Matrix, augmented by Seth Godin’s - Linchpin, Daniel Pink’s - Drive, and C. Otto Scharmer’s - Theory U. 🔄 Each provides guidance we desperately need - examining how we spend our diminishing resource – time - to accelerate personal growth and serve the people and organizations we care for deeply. ⏳ Eisenhower – how to characterize and discern the time we spend on various tasks - all which seem urgent + important, until we discover that - most tasks - are not. 📅 Godin – there is an Artist in all of us. The Linchpin restlessly wakes up to produce Art – not work. Art happens in the interstitial space of the Eisenhower Matrix. 😨Beware - strict adherence to the Eisenhower matrix may diminish your Art and the gifts you provide. 🎨🎁 Pink’s Drive opens us - to recognize when we are producing Art when experiencing Autonomy, Mastery, and Purpose. 🚀 Scharmer’s - Emerging Future – we all have one. It will happen. If you want to shape it, live in the interstitial space of the matrix: (Art + AMP) (Urgent + Important) (Art + AMP) (Not Urgent + Important) 🌌 Create Your Emerging Future by living above Deception + Waste. 🗑️ Live in your interstitial space! 🚀 Ready to step into your potential? Mark Twain once said: “Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect” and if you think not doing what the majority of people do is something only esoteric authors do then don’t forget that the legendary investor Warren Buffett also recommends to “be fearful when others are greedy, and be greedy when others are fearful.” An undeniable fact of life is that whatever the majority of people in any era do or believe are rarely the most effective approach to either which is why legends from Mahatma Gandhi and Nelson Mandela to Henry Ford and Elon Musk have all been famous to go in a direction different from the masses. In the modern era, the landscape of information dissemination and consumption has fundamentally altered the fabric of societal beliefs and behaviors, leading to a notable increase in extreme and radicalized viewpoints compared to the 20th century. The ubiquity of digital platforms and social media has facilitated the rapid spread and reinforcement of ideologies, creating echo chambers that intensify existing convictions and polarize opinions. This digital age, characterized by the instant availability of vast amounts of information and the ability to selectively engage with content that aligns with one’s preexisting views, has diminished the prevalence of moderate perspectives and cultivated a more divided and radicalized global populace. The algorithms that curate our digital experiences further entrench individuals in their beliefs, reducing exposure to diverse viewpoints and contributing to a more extreme and radicalized societal landscape than was typical in the more analog and less interconnected world of the 20th century. That’s precisely why it is important to understand that the key to success and happiness in the modern era is to go towards the opposite direction of the masses, to go towards moderation and consideration of ideas from different angles. In the era marked by extreme conservatism, extreme liberalism, extreme patriarchy, extreme feminism, and really extreme anything, the key to a bright future lies in being moderate! #entrepreneur #moderation #mindset

🏆 The Key to Innovation: A Story of Divergent Thinking 🏆 🎭 In the colorful world of Ideas, two tribes of thinkers existed - the imaginative Divergent Thinkers and the logical Convergent Thinkers. 🧠 One day, the King of Ideas issued a challenge - a mysterious box that no one could open. The prize? The title of 'The Supreme Thinker.' 🏆 The Divergent Thinkers, with their creative minds, unleashed a torrent of ideas, but none unlocked the box. The Convergent Thinkers, with their analytical approach, studied the box using the same solutions they knew, but their efforts fell short. 📦 Just as victory seemed elusive, a young Divergent Thinker, Imagina, had an epiphany. She noticed the box hummed a unique frequency. Could music be the key? 🎶 With the King's nod, she played the matching note on her flute. Lo and behold, the box sprang open! 🎉 The kingdom cheered. Imagina, with her out-of-the-box thinking, was declared 'The Supreme Thinker.' From then on, Divergent Thinkers were hailed for their ability to spark innovation and rewrite the rules. 🏅 This tale underscores the power of divergent thinking. It's not just about finding the best solution using today's conventions, but about thinking outside the box and shaping tomorrow. Remember, today's norms were yesterday's divergences. Tomorrow's norms? They might be today's divergences. 🚀 What's your take on divergent thinking? Have you ever had an 'Imagina' moment? Share your thoughts below! 👇 #growth #inovation #divergentthinking If you found this post insightful, let's connect! I regularly share thoughts on #growth #innovation #strategy. In a world that often rewards conformity, true success shines on those who dare to be different. It doesn’t come to the cautious or the complacent, but to those who are crazy enough to try. 🌟 Why? Because taking risks and stepping out of comfort zones is where the magic happens. It's in those moments of uncertainty and daring that innovation and breakthroughs occur. 🚀 Remember, every groundbreaking idea started as a seemingly crazy notion. The Wright brothers were crazy enough to believe humans could fly. Steve Jobs was crazy enough to think a phone could be a computer. These visionaries weren’t deterred by doubts or naysayers—they forged ahead with their dreams. So, embrace your crazy ideas. Pursue them with passion and persistence. Success is waiting for those who are bold enough to chase it, no matter how unconventional the path may seem. 💡 Are you crazy enough to try? #Success #Innovation #DareToDream #inspiration #motivation
