TalentServe #4g Title: 4G 4G, short for fourth-generation mobile communication technology, revolutionized wireless connectivity. Launched commercially around 2009, it significantly enhanced data transmission speeds, enabling faster internet browsing, smoother streaming, and quicker downloads compared to its predecessor, 3G. With peak download speeds reaching up to 100 Mbps, 4G facilitated the widespread adoption of bandwidth-intensive applications like video calling and mobile gaming. It also paved the way for the Internet of Things (IoT), enabling interconnected devices to communicate seamlessly. 4G networks utilize advanced technologies like Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) and Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) to optimize data transmission efficiency. This technology has become the backbone of modern mobile communications, supporting millions of users worldwide. However, as demands for faster speeds and greater capacity increase, the telecommunications industry continues to evolve, with 4G gradually making way for newer, more advanced standards like 5G.

This wireless protocol caught my attention. No license required ( worldwide), no SIM card, part of the 5G standard. Seems to be good for enterprise IOT, Industry 4.0, maybe event for high bandwidth audio streaming in a building etc…
